Can't they let Squirtle play in IPL5 as a representative, but replace him in the actual show match with MKP, Polt, or Taeja who will be there? The World team might not even have a Terran if Lucifron doesn't qualify. | ||

Especially if they can pick a terran that will do some crazy shit and make it fun like the ones you mentioned. You can't say you're going to pick the team one way and then make a change because you don't like the result. Next thing you know Seed will be kicked off the team for being Code B | ||

I like to think that Mvp was feeling sorry for Squirtle for putting him into the kong line, so he forfeited to give him a spot in the tournament and some air time in the show match. Good guy Mvp always looking out for his fellow pro gamers. | ||

I really wanted to see him play some more, but I know that this is the correct decision for him and his wrists. It's unfortunate, but it just means that Mvp will have more time to rest and more time to crush through Code A.With the state of his wrists causing him to drop out of tournaments, it's a wonder that he managed to reach the finals last season, going 3-4 against perhaps the strongest ZvT player in the world at that time. | ||

Overall I wish IPL never even did this show match, they have so many awesome story lines/content to fill the weekend, all I can see this being is a lot of cheese as players don't want to show strats for the actual tournament. | ||
