Who would you choose to recruit from players who are attainable? MMA?

did I tell you the story where no one courted taeja except liquid :O?

It's because teams like to recruit personalities, not talent.

We are talking about a world where the recruiting competition for a certain Korean terran (who was going to be a top 3 player in the world, no matter who picked him up) was...less than ferocious.

Foreign management in general seems shoddy when it comes to distinguishing different levels of Korean talent.

Isn't NSH a team sponsored by their academy? If so... I can't ever see them disbanding.... TSL lost all their players and recruited and raised some major talent, I BELIEVE IN NSH!! THEY CAN DO THE SAME!!!

Its ridiculous that Jjakji and Tassidar haven't been poached by now. Jjakji can win any tournament if he was on a team with good practice partners. And Tassidar is a great sniper for team leagues since he can take down more or less any protoss in the world at the moment. I just find it amazing that players like that stay on such a small team that probably doesn't offer them anything except a team house and food.

Housing and food is at least better than receiving mousepad and keyboard and have to live in mommy's house.

I do believe I read somewhere that jjakji, seal and tassadar are bffs so they want to stick together on hoseo I suppose.

ok I'll file that as "minor miracle"

Well that does make it kind of confusing, surely that can't be a bad thing for a rich team with money to spend "Buy a GSL champion today and get a free team league beast and team league sniper/ code A finalist with it!"

Jjakji could be EG.Puma 2.0 of the foreign scene if he was being sent to a lot of events, sucks that he doesn't get any opportunities. I think IPL4 is the only thing he ever went to and that was because he won a free trip from the IPL tournament of champions or whatever it was.

It's a miracle that NSH managed to outlive oGs in the first place.
I don't think they will disband but wouldn't be surprised if they merge with some other team.
Overall I think it's good,I don't see the Korean starcraft2 scene having enough resources and fan base to support more than 6 teams(independent of kespa).

I don't think NSHS will be alive next year, unfortunately. I don't know how they're holding on to jjakji, honestly.

I could see complexity picking up San, complexity just parted ways with killer and San specifically says how he wants to move out of Korea, something like the complexity house would be perfect.

San has one hell of a story with him from the gsl. Also Jjakji is so good, wouldn't be surprised at all to see ascend to greatness again.

Liquid'Hero and Liquid'Taeja would beg to differ. Besides, is Jjakji really that hot a player? He won a GSL to be sure, but his play of late doesn't seem to belong in Code S- indeed, it wasn't good enough to land him in Code S this season.

Jjakji played some sick games in the GSTL a couple of days ago, he's still good enough to be in Code S easily. He just didn't get through the group which happens to a lot of players who deserve Code S. Creator didn't make it through his up/down group even though he just won WCS Korea and TSL4.

edit: also beat Taeja in WCG Korea.

Honestly... he's not been showing great results. A deal like ESC.Daisy's would be right up his alley. Hopefully he can find a comfortable spot.

I do agree NSHS needs to beat Fnatic for the 8th GSTL spot. Not doing so would be... embarassing.
