I guess we can confirm that this is the final nail in the coffin for slayers?

So much SlayerS hate here. There was no benefit for SlayerS in the partnership other than being able to use JYP in team leagues. They have or had conflicting sponsors. They received no money from EG for the partnership anyways. EG could be looking to get more people to Korea and have everyone under the same roof. MMA is back at the SlayerS house training hard for the upcoming GSL. SlayerS is not dead.

This has been gone over 938492748172348623584625486345 times on these forums. Yes, Slayers is not part of the ESF, but they were specifically mentioned as being part of the trade lock agreement when it was drawn up.

EG-T8, man can dream.
I live in Russia. I wear the fufaika, valenoks and the shapka-ushanka with the red star. I drink vodka straight from the samovar, and my riding bear plays on the balalaika.

There is a bigger chance for it being EG-CJ since IdrA has lived with them before. But the chance is still really low.

I think it seems like things are just going down hill fast for SlayerS. Poor performances for the players, losing their founder and most recognisable player to his old team, losing Taeja, Crank, Ganzi, Golden, Dragon and Clide and now this. Pretty hectic year so far. Id say the most likely announcement next will be that SlayerS is shutting up shop. Like they have a good roster on paper but a lot of them haven't done anything big in a while although seeing what Dark and Arthur are doing on some of the online qualifiers like NASL is encouraging. Anyway I hope im wrong.

Side note: Since SlayerS aren't in ESF and most of their players have pro gaming licences for being in the GSL already I wonder if they can be picked up by KeSPA teams if they close their doors.

Slayers is included in the player lock

If the team disband I can't see them forcing players to wait until 2013.

EG is probably gonna sign stephano, and they already have a team that can do very well in Korea. Their line-up is pretty stacked, they will probably be more successful in sc2 if they move the EG lair out to Korea.

Huk, Idra, Thorzain, JYP and Puma are all capable of winning any event if they play their best. The rest of their team is very good as well, not to take away from any of them. If they pick up a guy like stephano, they will have a powerful GSTL lineup. The other guys on their team like Incontrol, LZgamer, Machine, and Demuslim are all certainly top 10 contenders but I don't see them making it to the finals of any major events. However, if they had the whole lineup together in Korea, who knows. We could see all of them become top contenders.

AHHAHAAHAHAHAHHAAHHHAH FANBOI DETECTED. Never read such a bullshit. They should be happy by playing hte diamond league in korean Battle.Net. God those americans they live apart from this world... IdrA and being goood LOL HuK who had hard to fight not losing to TabbyTheFat or some other random players. xD

No its not because of that, its because everything is going wrong lately for them. Not that I necessarly agree with the statement.

Don't think people saying it just due to the EG thing but if you add everything that been going on you can see the team is going down.

You need 100.000s of €s to run a kespa proteam with their salaries EG will never be able to pay that.

I see where you're getting at with saying IdrA and HuK have fallen off and stuff.. But JYP is still decent at least.
