Jwong is Justin Wong, one of the best fighters in the world. Fear is one of their Dota 2 players.

Almost every single post is speculating the reason for the split, I love TL
I agree that there has to be a reason behind this, but if they don't wanna come out with it, then I don't really care. I also don't care for buttered up announcements, like "mutual decisions". Good luck to both, though!

Dunno who fear is but jwong is Justin Wong, a fighting progamer... pro fighting gamer? whatever. He's been on EG for a while Also I had completely forgotten that EG and SlayerS were in a partnership so no big deal to me
Pretty sure he's trolling. FYI, though, Fear is Clinton Loomis, an American Dota 2 player who generally handles the carries for EG. He's been on a bunch of teams including LOST, Nirvana International, coL and, way back in the day, was one of the stars of EG's old Dota 1 team, along with Merlini, Swiss, Azen and current EG player Demon.

You know, EG got other games than SC2 on their roster...

Who's better all-around? The only real competitors are possibly dignitas, complexity, fnatic and Na'Vi. Most teams are really focused into a single game, but EG (and complexity especially) have multiple strong players in multiple games and genres.

Damn i wish MMA joins EG and they start competing in the GSTL. The only thing more cool than that would be if EG bought J.Dong

EG partnering with FXO? Hmm.

EG is fine, this is just one more step on the sad decline of SlayerS.

Sure, if you say so.
On topic: I'm kind of surprised by this, actually. SlayerS seems to be in a bad position at the moment, so I hope things work out for them in the end. Anyway, if EG signs Stephano they might feel like they don't need a partner - perhaps they want a team house in Korea?

Please god no. Why would you say that? I'm fine with them playing GSTL, but other than that; holy shit no.

I oddly had a feeling something like this was going to happen when iNcontroL was talking about Puma and JYP training over there. He just had this tone to his voice that something was up.
Anyway kind of sad. Sounds like they have something in store though so it wont be to bad.

I always laugh a little bit whenever EG starts all of their announcements with SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. or some other location. It makes it sound like crazy breaking news, haha.

Considering the players where most of those wins not in contact with EG, you are maybe right. Most of those accomplishments happend like more then 6 months ago. EG going to set up a teamhouse in korea T_T

weird, isn't that one of the main reasons Thorzain went to EG, rofl
