At least if they plan to have the standard Huk wants with cooks and maids and shit. I think a deal with TL would be a good idea though, something similar to the way the newest Slayers-apartments are set up with 1 apartment where they live and then another one for food and training.

Naniwa has been training in Korea for the last couple of weeks or so in an undisclosed location leaking little to no information about his where abouts, considering we know that EG has had some involvement in his situation with Quantic is to far fetched to think he may be announced as a new player in the upcoming weeks along with a training house involving him, Stephano, Huk, Thorzain, JYP(Who was on friendly terms with Naniwa at IEM disregarding the incident), and Puma? As unlikely as this is the pieces fit together rather nicely. naniwa is at the gom house.

Losing Boxer was the major hit, and it is a big one, since Boxer is the heart and soul of Slayers. Losing Crank also sucks, but Genius joined (which somewhat evens out I guess). Ending the EG partnership is irrelevant, I feel. Since when does making the GSTL finals mean that the team is going downhill? Yeah, we got all-killed, and that sucks, but the finals are the finals. People give Slayers shit for getting all-killed, but often forget that Prime, Liquid, Startale, and SK-IM won a total of 0 GSTL matches between them last season. Prime, Liquid and SK-IM also got all-killed too.

Indeed, plus teams like SK have all sorts of sports teams as well, but that's getting really off-topic. -_- On September 02 2012 03:11 forumtext wrote: I think all these partnerships and new KR training houses have little effect on a team's sucess. People should just listen to the emperor's advice: Train harder if you want to survive in the world of e-sport. I saw some guy posting somewhere about 7-8 months, but I cannot find it and that's a complete joke. It takes a lot longer training under those conditions and even then some guys still won't be up to snuff as they all have their own peaks. Agree with the Emperor though: hard work, hard work, hard work for the payoff. Unfortunately most players don't know the meaning of hard work. Crack them with whips. Work them to the bone. Let's see how much they actually enjoy the game.

GSTL pays too little to each player. He would rather just hangout in the nice EG house, go out to MLG/NASL and finish his standard top 8-top 4 and collect the easy money from weak foreigners and lose to the stronger koreans.

Let's see how much they actually enjoy the game. The only motto that matters in context of this dicussion. Hard Work Beats Talent, When Talent Doesn’t Work Hard Stephano's one of the most talented players there is. I think he probably got a taste of a strong training regimen at TSL house when he was there, but he wasn't there long enough imo to really get to a level that would ascend him to his current levels and become the great foreigner hope. Maybe he can manage something like that with EG over time though - he has confirmed EG house all they do is really practice and play - too bad it hasn't translated to any massive results (hard to attribute Thorzain's WCS Sweden win on EG training, it's probably more to do with SlayerS house training). That being said, when it's all said and done. I hope SlayerS does come out ahead of this and doesn't slowly crumble apart though.
