You don't think EG was paying for the opportunity to train there? Slayers has a lot of issues right now, so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this was a move by EG to upgrade digs there. no EG didn't pay anything. The partnership was made when all the teams did their stupid team partnership and most of them were short lived. EG got to house their players at the SlayerS house and get some training, SlayerS gets their name out there in foreign countries. Most of the EG players aren't in the SlayerS anyways, it was mainly just Puma and JYP. JYP doesn't train there anymore because he's studying for uni, HuK prefers to live with his buddies, and Puma is always traveling. There's no benefit to SlayerS or EG to continue this partnership.
Please, no need to assume things about what the details of the partnership were.

No we know that but to say they have ZERO results is a lie. No matter how much you hate EG saying they have never achieved anything is a complete and utter lie and you know it. He wasn't saying they weren't in a slump right now or anything. So how you conclude he's a fanboy because he was telling the guy who claimed they have 0 results that he is wrong doesn't make you a fanboy btw.

There aren't any foreign teams that can match those results... considering there are 10 good koreans to have two of them in the top 10 and another two in the top 15 would be considered pretty good... O_O

Kespa teams are 10x bigger and better than EG, wtf are you smoking?

Speculation: future eg+cj entus partnership?

Feels like slayers is really going downhill since that mma incident.

Crank leaving + Drama Getting all-killed in the GSTL LOSING FUCKING BOXER Now ending the EG partnership.

It's pretty sad. They were loved by most of the community.

There are other games, and they matter.

Slayers is confusing me lately anyway... Their management just seems so sketchy lately with the whole MMA thing and then Boxer coaching elsewhere. EG is fine by theirselves.
EG Korean house inc?

I do think it goes back to Taeja and Ganzi leaving. SlayerS lost their identity of the Terran team when those two left because MMA wasn't able to keep it up himself.
And Jessica said she would be making a statement about the whole Boxer leaving, did that ever come?

And Korean doesn't only play SC2.

Crazy speculation here but considering that EG is heavily leaning and hinting towards a training house in Korea does anyone else think EG has acquired not only Stephano (who is currently residing in Korea) but also Naniwa? Naniwa has been training in Korea for the last couple of weeks or so in an undisclosed location leaking little to no information about his where abouts, considering we know that EG has had some involvement in his situation with Quantic is to far fetched to think he may be announced as a new player in the upcoming weeks along with a training house involving him, Stephano, Huk, Thorzain, JYP(Who was on friendly terms with Naniwa at IEM disregarding the incident), and Puma?
As unlikely as this is the pieces fit together rather nicely.
