As far as I can see, it didn't seem like an equitable agreement. Slayers would probably have got money from the deal. Charging rent to EG players effectively. That is how the likes of Naniwa was able to stay at Startale House. Quantic paid his rent there.

I don't think they can really afford a whole gaming house on their own, or they would have to move the EG Lair which would not be ideal. I'm guessing it's gonna be a new partnership, but with what team that's the question ! They could have a decent GSTL lineup on their own if they pick up Stephano btw

JYP was sent out as ace for Slayers-EG and won there, he got pretty good playtime in the GSTL. On the other hand no one else was really having a lot of exposure. My guess on why it ended was just logistics. Housing JYP and Puma was already a lot of space (+ occasionally Idra/Demu). Now they have to fit Thorzain and potentially Stephano? Takes away space from players. My guess is EG goes solo GSTL (HuK/Puma/JYP/Stephano/Thorzain... they may have to pick one more up), no KeSPA partnership.

I'm more interested to see if this is related to the upcoming announcement of Stephano joining the EG ranks, and his potential participation in the Korean scene in a more substantial way. The speculation about a new Korea-based EG house (which could also house other foreign players on temporary terms) and a possible GSTL line-up would be sick. And considering the recent SlayerS announcement of BoxeR leaving to coach SKT indicates to me that this is actually more to the benefit of EG than to SlayerS, opening up additional possibilities for the foreign team. Gogo EG! <3 :D
