Usually they were always already up within one hour after the game was played. They were very reliable during last OSL and during Proleague. Not sure why they are not uploaded yet and I can't tell you when they will be. I don't expect it to take much longer though but maybe they have different plans for this OSL.
I can watch the last 2 games on the OGN twitch. Has moletrap commentary. I actually met him at WCG USA Finals in 2007 and used to commentate with him a bit in the past.

What information do you mean? As far as I know, VOD threads are strictly no spoiler rule.
I wishe theyd open a YT channel though so we can just copy paste each match.

You can improve the links a little bit by adding time information to the end of the URL, the VOD will then start there.

Is there a way to change this to have all Kespa VODs instead of just the OSL ones? The small vod thread in the BW section still gets updated with the current hybrid Proleague but it probably won't after Proleague completely transitions to SC2. It would be neat to have a single thread for all Kespa VODs for both OSL and PL.

Good idea. Should we also include all Kespa SC2 vods, like games where Kespa players played SC2, like WCG, and others in the future. What do you think?
Just so you guys know, there's a twitch bug where there is no audio when you use a direct timestamp link. Twitch knows about this bug, but are just slow to fix it. You have to use the non time stamp link and then manually forward to the time stamps if you want sound.

Neat trick, I didn't know you could do that with twitch vids too. I assume hour is "h"?
Yes.
I just read though that apparently using the timestamp argument is buggy, so I'm afraid it should not be used:

Nope. In the first 10 maybe 20 threads it is possible. But once it goes beyond that, it would be impractical to do that. Anyway, later this thread will have more post containing VODs than posts, so they'll be easy to find, like in Broodwar Small Vod Thread.
twitch tv is sooo freaking badd... urghh. doesnt matter what browser it pauses ever 3 seconds regardless, when you let it buffer it stops after 20 seconds. Meanwhile i could load 30 youtube videos in the background in a minute if i wanted to.....
who're the english casters? i was out of the scene for so long i didn't even noe that the kespa players played in MLG Anaheim lol. Trying to get back into it. RAWR!

Indeed, I'll take this free high quality with an inferior vod system anytime over 240p with a better one that you can't even watch all of if you don't pay.
F*** that s***. Dammit, and I thought we'd be moving away from GOM's terrible "You can only watch at an inconvenient time if you don't pay for it" business model. That crap doesn't work for tournaments that are broadcasted daily.
Well, at the very least, the free stream is much better quality. I guess it's back to finding someplace else to watch Korean SC2 VODs.

It does work, and I'm considering it, because Grubby is casting it (and I can root for more KeSPA players )
I will never, ever pay $20 for 480p. I'm hardly willing to watch for free at these shitty resolutions, I always have to nag myself that I want to see how the Kespa players are doing. This is absurd.
Gom is ahead but this is free. Honestly im quite pleased with this so far. Free sc!
uh... what the hell are you talking about, free?
They JUST started charging starting from the games broadcasted last night. Good job trying to make a point by editing out the name and time the quote was posted as well. I don't like that they started charging either, but please make rational comments.
So last night's games are the last free games we'll see or already we have to pay for them? In other words, should I check who won already or is there hope of watching the games?
This is complete BS. I understand they wanting to switch to the GOM model but doing it DURING the season is just bad practice. I've never like GOM's model of paid VODs, but it has worked for them so far. What the hell is OGN thinking???/

Last WEEK's games are probably the last free games we'll see. You should probably check the results, or find the VODs elsewhere.

I wouldn't mind if they just had a restream at a later time for those who can't watch it at 2AM on a weekday every night. Other tourneys that broadcast daily on the weekdays like IPL and NASL have rebroadcasts, why don't OGN or GOM?
Business models that rely on inconvenience like this sicken me and actively turn me away from ever supporting them. I'll just watch some other tournament that doesn't do this crap, there are plenty of Koreans in those already. Or watch them when they're available for free like the GOM promotion is doing right now.
GOM's quality is also an issue for those that watch for free. Worse comes to worse, though, and a good GOM game is on that night that I really want to see, recording via GOMstreamer is also an option.
well there is no way i would pay for it now, like the free vods were a mess and now i want to check out how it went when grubby started to cast, but i cant even see that, really bad move OGN -.-
There's pretty much no chance of me paying for a subscription. I'm kind of disappointed I'll never get to see Grubby cast OSL, since I don't have the time to watch live. TwitchTV VOD system is pretty bad, and the previous OSL vods I managed to watch were badly cut and filled with issues. ;(
I don't mind paying for OSL but they need to improve their quality more than this. Getting Grubby is a good step forward, hope they have an option for 720p HQ vod.
wait so they're charging 20 bucks for half a season now? So is next full season gonna be 40 bucks or something? If not, who the hell would pay the full 20 bucks now for half the product?
Not giving OSL a dime until they've been Declawed and have no way of ever trying to pull their shit on GOM again. Kinda sad, but eh. I honestly hope a lot more people feel like this too though.
Nobody shows up at the studio when they play, at least the first 3 rows are empty in the games I did see. I wonder if they're getting desperate. Nobody shows up at proleague either, and the Gom studio looks always full but then again, it's very small.

GOM studios are super small, like 50 people can fit in there max. OSL studio's can seat from 150 to 200 people (not accounting for standing room at the back).
Damn, I was really hoping that they would at least for the first couple of broadcasts keep the vods free without the Paywall. Argh, I guess what sucks about it was how it was rather abrupt. The first 2 broadcasts free, but then suddenly making it Pay only.
having 2 days free with HORRIBLE sound issues, and bad quality and then want money for more ? i would pay if they have nice vods with 1080 or something but bo1 in shitty quality ? i mean 4 gaames a week ? i get 8-12(4*2-3 games) a day from gom in high quality witzh good casters and everything fine ...
osl for me is dead
i watched them for over 5 years and now they want money with worse quality then ever xD
they say HD vods they say GRUBBY they say alot but i CANT SEE it ... so give me 1 vod and i will pay if its good .. but without seeing 1 ... i dont buy something blind after 2 days horrible vods
cant TL make a deal with osl asking if they give 1 hd quality vod with grubby ? just 1 unimportent map i wanna seee the quality ....
Where are Day 3 VODs? I can not find them anywhere official channels non-officials channels nowhere. Can someone give me a link with these VODs i do not care what quality is i just want to watch all Day 3 games.
Theoretically, I have no problem with paying for OSL, but they don't have the quality product to do that yet. No way I'm giving 20 dollars for what I've seen thus far.

Huh? I'm seeing decent turnout in these Ro16 games. The Dual Tournament had abysmal turnout, but the crowd size for the Ro16 is very respectable. Proleague turnout has been very inconsistent. Certain teams like SKT consistently draw in decent crowds, but other teams like STX or Ace don't.
These crowd sizes aren't at BW levels, but they aren't that bad sometimes.
Just for those who care, the vods are now up. You gotta pay, but their up.
Man, must say, I'm loving Grubby's commentary. Even Moletrap seems to be doing decently, still quite a few rough spots, but everything considered, I'm enjoying it. Its a shame that grubby is only here for like 2 more weeks
They did improve this week. There are English schedules and English overlay in the video. And the VODs now are sorted according to matches like DRG vs Rain, Flash vs Best. It's shorter than GSL since it's already RO16 and there is no code A. But GSL costs 29.99 for a season while OSL costs 19.99. I would say it's just a little too expensive.
This is disgraceful that you have to pay for VODs. I've already bought a subscription, but it's still a disgrace.
How do they hope to grow the scene if everything is behind a paywall? Accessibility is the most important thing about keeping e-sports alive. If everything is behind a paywall how would new people find the scene or get into the OSL.
SD Vods should be free, but HD Vods you have to pay for.
20 bucks? I'm disappointed. I wish OGN took a longer term view of reaching out to building up eSports as a cultural export. If even Western audiences hate paying that much, how are Chinese fans (the largest eSports fanbase in the world by numbers) going to ever pick up on SC2 as opposed to free LoL/Dota 2 casts?

This is incorrect, GSL is 15.00$ USD for the basic package ( hq stream, vods )
Right now most SC2 fans probably don't know anything about the OSL, how does OGN expect new fans to become interested in the OSL if the whole thing is behind a $20 pay wall.

Yeah this is the main problem, they are not going to have a good foreigner viewerbase by putting up a paywall this quickly. GSL can get away with it because they are an established brand that everyone in SC2 already knows.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways, here a quick comparison between the GSL and OSL prices:
OSL: for 20$, you get potentially: 4*6 games + 4*3 games + 3*5 games = 51 games
GSL for 15$/30$ you get potentially: 8*5+4*5+4*5+2*5+1*7 = 97 games (code S) 24*3+16*3+12*3 = 156 games (code A) and additionally the up-and-downs games
but obviously one of the reasons why you get so few games in the OSL is because they did not charge for the dual-tournament, which can be regarded as the ro32 of the OSL. If you add those to the OSL package, you get almost the same amount of games as the Code S, a few less because OSL is bo3/bo5 instead of bo5/bo7.
Either way, I think back to the whole Kespa vs ESF debate in amusement, as not few people claim that Kespa (and OSL) do everything for the fans, one proof of that being that the vods are free to watch.

I think the main problem is that there are just too many league charging right now. Pretty sure you would have to pay >1000$ in a year if you want to watch all of it and this is just way too much.
But yeah charging for vods and "HQ" if you only have 480p is a joke, but it's their league so they can do whatever they want.
They shouldn't be surprised if people start to pirate their stuff though.

Counting sets might be a bit inacccurate, but I could do a min-max thing. On other note, I saw that I miscounted. Sets in the group stages of GSL are bo3, while sets in the group stages of OSL are bo1, so the max number of games are:
OSL: for 20$, you get up to: 4*6 games + 4*3 games + 3*5 games = 51 games
GSL for 15$/30$ you get up to: 8*5*3+4*5*3+4*5+2*5+1*7 = 217 games (code S) 24*3+16*3+12*3 = 156 games (code A) and additionally the up-and-downs games
the min number of games are
OSL: for 20$, you get at least: 4*6 games + 4*2 games + 3*3 games = 41 games
GSL for 15$/30$ you get at least: 8*5*2+4*5*2+4*3+2*3+1*4 = 142 games (code S) 24*2+16*2+12*2 = 104 games (code A) and additionally the up-and-downs games

Yes, that's what I've heard. From the production crew.
OGN's production hasn't been very good and with the paywall they're really hurting their foreign viewer count. GSL grew up alongside SC2 so everyone is familiar with it, I don't think many people will pay for OGN as well especially when it's more expensive and you get less games.

Can you count the sets too? Oo Min-Max values of course because with bo3 you can have 2 to 3 games with bo5 - 3 to 5 and with bo7 - 4 to 7
Counting sets might be a bit inacccurate, but I could do a min-max thing.
Both dont require maths if you truly love esports.

This is incorrect, GSL is 15.00$ USD for the basic package ( hq stream, vods )

Yeah, but the reason why one can watch it for free is because independent casters like you took the effort to cast it in english and upload the vods.
My only problem with OSL is that they decide to do this DURING the season. It's like they tease you with free VODs for the first couple of days and BAM, pay if you want to continue watching. This is a very dick move imo and not a good way to attract new viewers.
I wouldn't have a problem if they implement this starting next season.

You really can't calculate like that. What if Kespa decided to make best of 5s instead? Would then suddenly they have the better system? So GOM goes for best of 7s then?
On an OSL day I get 5 games and that is absolutely enough for me. GSL days are way, way too long and you can't watch everything anyway (if you have a life / unless you have holidays).

Then I will likely pay in the future. Right now it's crap compared to GSL, with a really bad Bo1 format, with way, way less games overall and Moletrap casting. I don't know what they are thinking trying to charge more than GSL.
meh, format is much more exciting in OSL than in GSL for me. Not saying better, but more exciting. And the truth is, GSL days are too long, I can never watch all of it even though I pay for premium ticket - I just have no time to watch 3plus hours of SC2 every day.
While I understand the comments about GSL days being really long (which they are now) its not soley about the optimal amount of time. Theres also the fact that bo3 is simply a better way of determining who is the better player, and thus advancing only the most deserving players into the next round. Sure the cheese series can occur, but it gives the better player a much better chance of advancing compared to bo1 and that makes the rest of the tournament worth a lot more (monitarily and otherwise).

Then just watch the ones you care about in the VODs. For example, as a Terran Player, I skipped Group A which had 2 Zergs and 2 Protosses. And while PvZ is interesting, ZvZ and PvP are not to me.

The base of my calculation is the format is the format of the last osl. Since there are no explicit sources on what the current format is, and since the format currently used in the ro16 coincides with the one used last season, I figured it would be as an educated guess as I could get. I calculated the ratio between number of games offered to watch and the price of the ticket. If there are any errors with my calculations, feel free point them out and I'll correct them immediately.

I no longer cast OSL, so I don't have any vods after the Dual Tournament. You'll have to go through OGN for that.
OK so IDK about you all, but there is MASSIVE RINGING on the vods..... like OBSCENELY LOUD, its like being in an isolation chamber... and what is moletrap doing casting another stream? Aren't there at least like a million threads out there saying that noone likes this guy as a caster?

$19.99 for a season? Whoa there OSL; for the price when compared with the amount of games being played, a bit pricy don't you think? GSL/NASL are about the same price but have way more matchups.
Especially this late into SC2 where I can go on TL and watch a million different streams and tournaments whether it be live, rebroadcast or vods; they're gonna have to give in or give up.
A bit disappointed overall with OGN lately. Low quality, high costs, ehhhhh I hope it isn't working.

Indeed, I'll take this free high quality with an inferior vod system anytime over 240p with a better one that you can't even watch all of if you don't pay.
Free? I get that I need to buy season pass? Am I doing something wrong?
Alright since the twitch OSL page already spoiled games 3 and 4 for me in the rain-parting game by listing the fact that there were 4 matches played, is there any way i can avoid that for todays matches?

Yeah now they put scores in VODs T_T. Are there ways how to watch VODs without getting spoiled? Why they can not put empty videos like GOM does
I just paid for the OSL half season without really looking into it, only to find out about the spoilers in thier vods. This is worse then anything else as it makes most series pointless to watch. Probably the last time I spend money on the OSL, I will stick to the GSL I think.
OSL needs a lesson in marketing, I can't even find a website, I've seen some un organized stuff on twitch...they expect us to pay for it when they don't even know how to market it? I think they are still in the 90's and don't care about the rest of the world watching maybe.
Is there an english contact for the OSL? They could use some positive input on things to change for the next season. They wouldve had a big foreign audience for the finals if they had a proper setup.
