I wonder if you could work any of these type of effects into a regular tournament map that happens at a certain time or is triggered by something specific happening so it is predictable and can be planned and stategized around. That would be a crazy gimmick map to change up the metagame  | ||

There hasn't (as far as I can remember) ever been anything like this. This feels very much like a group of pros playing the "g0d's land" game in the arcade. If you have friends that you want to get into the game that aren't really the competitive types, this is the go to event, I think. I love that they are taking full advantage of the fact that this isn't a hardcore MLG style tournament. This isn't about prize money or anything like that...it's about giving back to the fans. And so 8 of the biggest, most beloved, most community driven and hands-on personalities in the business are asked and agree to partake. Very special thanks to all the players and those that got this event together. I have no idea what the viewship will be like but I know there are people that will love every minute of this...I'm one of them. And to Day9 and Red Bull: yet another innovative addition to the Starcraft world. | ||

im gonna be in seattle starting thursday night im looking for something to do so i wanted to know if this event will be free to attend im not attending pax, but since this event takes place in the hyatt, can i just walk in for free? | ||
