Following the success of Nv.mOOnGLaDe at the Blizzard World Championship Series Oceania Finals, I'm pleased to announce two new additions to the team. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/AYYIi.jpg)
The first is Team Liquid's GTR - who has come on board as the team's official coach. We're very pleased to have him on board, as he'll be filling a necessary void which I've been struggling to find time for.
Before attending the WCS event in Sydney, I never really had much interest in the Starcraft II scene in Australia; sure, I knew a few names here and there, but never really focused my attention on it. However, over the weekend, after meeting many of the players and staff, talking to them about growing the game locally, it reignited my passion for the scene.
With so much untapped potential in the Oceania region, I had a talk with many of the Nv people, specifically Dox and deth, offering myself as a coach for the team; to help these talented players reach their potential. My job will me similar to what coaches are used in Korea for; to help players prepare for matches and provide advice whenever needed.
I'd like to thank not only Dox, but also the players for providing me with the opportunity to join their organization. I'd also like to thank Nv's sponsors, GAMECOM, Frag Labs and Horize for helping out not only Nv, but also Australian ESPORTS as a whole. - GTR
The second member to join the Nv family is the WCS New Zealand champion - JazBas.
For those who don't actively follow the SEA/Oceania scene, JazBas is nothing short of a local legend. In 2011, he was one of two SEA representatives who competed at the 2011 Blizzcon World Finals, where he narrowly lost to SEn in the first round of the upper bracket, and then proceeded to take down MajOr 2-0 in the lower bracket. He would eventually fall to China's TooDming in yet another close ZvZ series.
We're excited to have JazBas join the team, and we look forward to a very bright future together!
And last but not least, for those who haven't already heard, we recently announced that the team will be attending the MLG Dallas Championships in November! We're looking forward to meeting a lot of wonderful people, and showing the world what we can do in the Open Bracket. (Both deth & mOOnGLaDe recently qualified for the MLG Summer Arena, however due to scheduling conflicts & passport delays, were unable to accept the invitation.)

|
YEAH BOYS! SUCH GOOD NEWS <3 <3 <3 I love the pickups
|
Grats Jazzy! :D
Can't wait to see these guys at MLG. They're all so talented and easily capable of matching or beating NA's best.
|
|
Solid pickup, Poor Xeria though, Benji's now lost all of his original players in the space of like a month T.T
Adding GTR seems.. interesting. i like it. Cant wait to see how you guys do in dallas, ^_^

I don't like that there seems to besome parts of the scene which appear to not get enough attention. My first thought was "who, what, huh?". I had heard of Moonglade, but the team, the other players? Nothing. So while I assume they do rock I as you, fellow liquiditians, how come they seem so far from the spotlight? Missing out on Sc2 coverage is a bad thing. I feel cheated Oh well I hope they will get exposure now, variety wins!

Last year before I moved to Japan - I had the pleasure to watch deth, YoonYJ and Rossi do a few show matches and compete in the SC2 tourny at Respawn LAN down in Melbourne. They were really good. However what was the best thing was - playing poker with deth.
deth is by far the nicest SC2 pro player I've met. Even though I cleaned him twice on the same table (LOL) he still talked to us and hung around despite it being 3am. Hope you guys do well!

This is great! I'm happy the e-sports scene is growing! :D

FUCK YESSS!!!!!
This is the best zerg pickup i could think of for Nv.
such a boss both as a person and as a player, jaz is the perfect human!!
GTR was really cool on the weekend too, and after chatting to him for a while and seeing what hes all about. i think he will do great work with the guys!
Nv FIGHTING!!!!
