So people here think that just because BW players are playing a 12 year old game, they can just dominate sc2? That's like saying people who are unreal at NHL 94 would kill someone who plays NHL 12. makes no sense. There are gonna be the few, Fantasy/flash who will transfer well because they're natural gamers, but i don't see anyone beating MVP/Stephano from the current BW proleague. SC2 is a different game. -Won gold for the last BW WCG -Won the last gold badge for the last MSL -Won the last GomTV Intel-TG Sambo Classics And by winning the last OSL, he not only accomplishes the first ever 4th OSL win but probably be the best ever player to have played this game and end the era that is known as BW. This is the best case scenario for how the BW OSL can end. Judging from what happened in the last OSL which words cannot describe the epicness from the prelims all the way to the finals, hope this one will be as good. | ||

First, BW is a 14 and nearly 15 years old game. Yes there is quite a lot of differences between the two games, but the goal is still to mine ressources, build units and buildings, micro your army. You have to scout the ennemy and need game sense to understand how to counter. The mechanic of the games are fairly similar, its in fact so much easier on that point that its not even an argument to begin with. You mention Flash and Fantasy who will transfer well because they're natural gamers.. yet you seem to forget that most of these bw players are, it wouldnt be their full time job otherwise. | ||

BW, not Bw, is older than 12 years. No one is literally crying over BW, and yes, people actually felt sad over Counterstrike. You can't claim or know which one is more classic, CS or BW. Not every BW player will dominate, but certainly people that were good in Broodwar has a higher chance of becoming good compared to a group of people who never has played an RTS before. | ||
