Leave it to Blizzard to invite a hacker to a tournament. But this is a non issue, aside from wasting a spot, this guy is going to get wrecked hard in the first round.

In this case, the evidence isn't circumstantial or debatable at all.

I has it! Steal his mouse and keyboard then after the event give it back with a note stating that keyboard and mouse had too pro of blink micro.

The note should say that they (his keyboard and mouse) blinked away without him selecting them individually.

I hope he enjoys site seeing in Anaheim cause I'm sure he's just going to use this as a vacation. No way on earth he shows up at a LAN. He'll be sitting in his hotel room LOLing at this thread and Reddit the whole time. Unless something is done by Blizzard of course.

This is disgusting.

More and more I wish one of two things will happen

Either blizzard becomes much more active in preventing hacks and manages to get an anti hack system up ad working in real time, or we get a launcher like iccup to help limit the amount of hacking out there.

If we can't stop private hacks, thats understandable but seriously, the mass produced easily accessible hacks need to be dealt with. To a certain extent I can't help but think that these hack threads might make the problem worse at every level OTHER than super high masters.

What logic is that? In what possible credible community is illegitimate threats of violence and force welcome? This is exactly what moderating is supposed to mean.

Oh come on, people just want to rant or show how frustrating they are where there is a hacker being invited to a LAN event. I doubt people will actually go to the point where physical contact happens. Just relax man.

User was warned for this post

this is just what we need, a dead kid because he got over "beaten" by computer nerds, for hacking in a computer game. You might say no just beat him slightly, but just 1 bad hit and the kid is dead and e-sports with him.

Plus a better end for him would be to just be embarrassed by being rolled over in the tournament. And him going to the tourney its blizzards fault primarily for not doing their job, catching hackers.

I was a bit worried there for a second but I'm relieved to see there are several internet badasses ready to turn to physical violence at mlg, gj guys.

I can't believe they invited for ladder. More qualifiers should have been hosted instead. So many players tried so many times and were unable to get in.

I'm interested in seeing who his roommate is for WCS. The players don't have individual rooms, so he can't hide in his room all day if he decides to take the flight and not show up at MLG.

It's a shame that someone else who deserves it probably can't take his spot now though

There's a reason why threats of force regardless of rather it occurs are considered criminal offenses, I very much doubt people would actually go to that point either, but it's about the principle of the matter. Do you honestly want to see people get away with posting things like this on TL regardless of the context? Do you actually care about the integrity of the community? I'm very calm, excluding people from being able to participate in an online community when they aren't contributing to it and are infact ruining the integrity of the dialogue on it is completely logical.

If Blizzards Warden can easily detect these hacks and they just keep them on a list to mass ban, they should make sure none of these invitees aren't hackers.

Theoretically it might not be that easy Idk.
