You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

I made an account on TL (long time lurker) just to say this. After watching Beastlyqts video based on your replay, if that guy was hacking, then good news, because I'm an alien, and also Jeff Bezos. There is no freaking way that guy was hacking. Literally none. The fact that you call hack before even watching the replay says it all. You seriously accuse someone of hacking before even looking at a replay? In my opinion THAT should be the topic of conversation. False accusations are pretty seriously in my opinion.
(Edit: For ref, I am not particularly good as I don't have time to play much these days, but I watch A LOT of SC2. I'm mid Diamond T/P. There is not a single bit of conclusive evidence in those replays that would point towards hacking as what Vanish did was generally speaking the best decision in that situation.)

I'm not even sure what pinky's on about. He admits in the first paragraph that he tanks his MMR. Then challenges beastyqt to a bo5 and tells beasty to stop stomping lower brackets? After admitting to tanking his MMR so he can proxy noobs? Pinky you make my brain hurt with your stupid.

I just played vanish and he didn't do anything that screamed hacking. Just another player on ladder

I find it hilarious that in the 1st replay Pinky saws the SCV, Vanish sees the SCV, HACKZORZ!$!@$!$!
As Winter would say for the 1st replay, somebody didn't buy the minimap DLC(I must admit I haven't as well  )

vs Marulord: That two SCV move was definitely suspicious, especially the tightening up of their spread and the camera focus right as they were arriving. There should have been no reason to focus them other than to build or target the enemies (which hadn't been spotted yet), and if the intention was to proxy, why move back the forward-most SCV? Otherwise, there weren't many/any blatant fog checks and that battle over the third base seemed to catch them by surprise a little. Also, the final "push". I guess if you're avoiding doing fog-checks to not get caught it makes sense that they wanted to mask it with a scan, but there was clearly a giant blob of units at the top of the ramp, with a relatively naked cliff. Sub-optimal hacker, but I'm only 66% convinced, lol.
vs ElPueblo: The exact right number of initial SCVs and their pull timing was pretty insane. If they weren't hacking, the fact that the one SCV that was seen trailed off to the right did seem like you were trying to "guide" them away from the proxy, which is a bit of a tell. Otherwise everything about that was gross. Somehow, I'm more convinced by that one (75%).

I'm exon silver and I never talked to this guy before so I don't know why he is accusing me. This is called defamation for me and my team.
Adnap is a streamer, this is probably just stream hacking, not maphack.

If I remember well, you're a streamer and Rocket is a team that is known to play a lot of streamers. This is most likely a streamhack and not a maphack, which is different.
Moreover, RockeT team has several members and they all share their accounts apparently, so you cannot really say who the player is.
That's sad that RockeT team streamhacks some streamers but you have to ignore them.

This is also a "general hacking and cheating thread" not the "maphacking thread". If you think it's somehow more honourable to stream-cheat someone than to maphack, then you're fucked...

Why would he scan for an observer when a raven is 2 seconds away from popping though?

I really don't think this is suspicious. Scanning right before a Raven pops is really stupid, but I do that all the time, and always feel like an idiot after. Scanning for an obs there is also totally reasonable, because more often than not there is one there. Plus, there are a bunch of things in the replay that point towards him not hacking, IMO. He runs his mine drop over a pylon and gets basically nothing done with it as a result, ran a drop over your adept at 7:25 (which could've just been intended to catch it but still), moves out right when your prism is moving in at around 10:20, his scan almost misses the Obs at 11:10, almost runs straight into your army at 11:30, etc. I really see nothing fishy here, just a bit of a lucky scan.
