You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |
An update on Analthaabe
Name: Analthaabe sc2ranks profile: sc2ranks profile Server: EU Replay: http://drop.sc/214891 League: 689 points Masters
Saw that there were more replays on drop.sc with him. Checked out a 5 months old one. @ 9:05 he clearly checks opponents natural and third through FOW then choosing to not move in with voidray since there is spores and queens. He is constantly building and selecting things that seams to be outside of camera view.

I don't understand why bizzard is so stupid. If someone's hacking, ban them right away. Don't ban in waves. Morons.

Regret? Got Caught? I clicked a button and it took 3 seconds downloading something and then I spent a few hours seeing if it worked and what it was like and then I was done, you're being ridiculous, why would I deny that?
@Rickyvalle:
Bronze cant get masters with maphacks... diamond, yes, top plat possible but unlikely, but bronze noway has anywhere near the mechanics

If you just wanted to see how it looks you could have watched streams of hackers or look at pics. Or play a practise game against a friend.
Playing several games against ladder opponents means that you can´t be trusted anymore, simple as it is. If you never did it before and will not do it again, sad for you. But you really don´t make that impression in this thread.
It started with I don't maphack and would appreciate my name off of this list -_- I did try out a maphack at one point, so its possible although unlikely that this game was during the one or two games I played
Because it's obvious all that's happened is I saw a hack on google and was curious so I dl it and play a few ladder games

Because I'm not asking anyone to take anything on faith, it's obvious from my match history or like every opponent I played not during those specific couple of games that I'm not hacking -___-. I'm playing on a smurf right now anyway and ranking it up

enemech, stop trying to save face, you red skulled. there will be no review.
you have been caught map hacking, so you're on the list. it doesn't matter what you say you will do next, you now have 0 credibility. it doesn't matter what you actually do next, you'll still be on the list.
if you keep hacking people will keep adding replays and you will keep being put to the front of the list, if you stop hacking you will just be another anecdote in the annals of assholes. i don't give a shit either way, but i hope you get banned.
in my eyes you're a selfish twerp our community would be better off without.

I'm not saying you are lying about it, but from what I can tell, you've just lost the respect of many sc2 players who don't hack. Be glad this isn't something that would take your job away or go to jail for (although hacking is definitely illegal) and move on. What's done is done. you realize that's already a bannable offense?
"oh i only did it for one day" doesn't excuse the fact that you deliberately used hacks to get an advantage on the ladder.

what kind of hacks do exist in this game, i was under the impression there werent really any :S

The common ones I've seen are map hacks (ones that remove the fog of war), hacks that show you a production tab like in replays or when observing, and hacks that automate some actions like blinking or larva injects. I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones I've seen most.

Stop arguing with this moron.
You have downloaded and used a 3rd party program (the map hacking program) on Sc2, thus violating the Terms of Use agreement that you have SIGNED when installing the game. We have definitive proof that you did that.
Your name will not be removed from this list, hopefully Blizzard will read that and decide what to do with your account, that's it, now stop posting.

This. So much this.

wow first time I actually see a hacker post on this thread saying he did use hacks I don't understand why you would do that.
Even downloading a hack just to try it is an offense. If you wanted to try hacks you could've played like custom games with friends, that doesn't matter (to me at least) but playing against people you don't know using hacks is just not cool. You wouldn't go to like a casino and "try to count cards @ blackjack" (sorry bad example but it's the best i've got e.e ^^) you would get kicked out and put on blacklist.
I hope you really just tried them once and never will again because this is a plague and it really fucking blows.

I would like to clear this bad situation. I did not use any hack, in fact i'm not even a protoss player. Someone has compromised my account, and have played games with hacks. Fortunately a friend warned me and i could change E-mail and password in time. Also i have reported the fact to Blizzard, by sending a ticket. I personally apologize with Naffy, and I assure you all it won't happen again.
Regards

That's fucking retarded. Why would you want less non hacking, free coaching, non raging, macro players in the community? If you had it your way, all that would be left playing is you and maphackers. Credibility as what, by the way? That sentence doesn't mean anything. Credibility as a player? I'm sure I'm better than you.
P.S: Do you know what an anecdote means? P.P.S: Really, hoping someone gets banned for getting like 50 ladder points from proxy cheesers once? You're an asshole.

Don't worry about it rainbowdash, this thread doesn't mean anything. You're just one of the many people on it who don't hack ______________________ @Stava:
Yes, I violated Terms of use for THE GAME when I downloaded it to try it out, that isn't what I'm talking about. If I get banned from bnet that's totally fair, but I still shouldn't be on a list of what I thought was people who hack, when I play 100% legitimately.
EDIT:
To make this very clear to people who can't tell... I'm a legitimate player who tested a download once. Yes, It's fair if I get banned from Battle.net, but as a legitimate player, I want this thread to be a useful resource I can use for knowing whether another player maphacks. This has NOTHING TO DO with being banned, it's about wanting this thread to be accurate. Simple fact is, I don't maphack

You map hacked against people on ladder, you should definitely have your name up there at least as an honorable mention.
Did you personally apologize to these people after? I doubt it. Would you have ever said anything if you weren't caught? I doubt it.

not sure why you care so much about your reputation when you're not anyone important in the community. just make a new account and get on with your life if you consider yourself a legitimate player.

Caught? I spent less than a day trying something I was always curious about and that was it, after I ended up losing points anyway. It wasn't some big covert operation.
@Tyler: Because I really like my name. I have a graphic with it.

I've seen many terrible justifications from hackers over the years, but Scholera has definitely taken the top spot. His argument is so mind-numbingly stupid that I'm certain he's joking.
