You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

I think it's obvious that blizzard knows about it, the question is why they do nothing for it.. ? Waiting for next patch or Hots to take measures ? it is too late and both technologically and economically not feasible to re-write the game
Sorry, but what does "technologically not feasible" mean?

You can block communication with a player but that doesnt stop the matchmaking-system from matching you with him.

I think he's implying that re writing how the game fuctions, ie the client/server side interactions, would be far to difficult and time consuming for blizzard to be able to do at this point.
I don't know what we can do to really prevent this. Blizzard needs to do something, this isn't like BW, we actually need the working blizzard ladder as blizzard seems opposed to anyone trying to recreate one. This isn't like world of warcraft where banning in waves is fine because hacking doesn't really hurt anyone. A competitive RTS can't have hacking in it, and needs to have different prevention measures in place than WoW, along with being more vigilant.

I'm surprised Blizzard haven't at least attempted to file suit against some of these websites that host the material. It's equivalent to piracy in that it will harm their commercial bottom line over time. They seem to be massively concerned with preventing piracy and can't give us LAN, but not preventing hacks which, if they run rampant will really reduce the players buying their expansion.

I fail to understand the severity of this situation. Are people reporting (hacking) players and nothing is happening? I see people complaining on these forums, but this is the one time you'd best have complained or reported them to Blizzard before doing anything else and saying Blizzard doesn't do anything.
Blizzard does not tolerate hacking, at all, they fucking hate it. Report these people immediately, provide whatever evidence, etc, how are hackers making it to GM? The way I see it, it's more of a failure by the people for not reporting it. Evidence or not, the same name being reported for anything esp hacking is a red flag and their not just going to ignore that.

Thanks a lot for this, sir! This looks a little suspicious to me. But i'll run it by some more of my team members and the managers before i pass any judgement. Again, thanks a lot!!

It's quite hilarious how terrible he is even though his hacks literally show him everything

even if you 'pass' judgement as a manager/owner it should be apparent that you shouldn't even be noted with him at all it brings down the entire team

It makes me sick that I had to re-buy my copy of sc2, resetting my 1k wins and league, because I hve a tendency to call people faggots if they bm me, while obvious hackers are just chilling in GM despite known pros exposing and reporting them.

Damn it. Blizzard really needs to do more about these hackers. More than what they're doing now.

I feel like they are trying but hackers are always ahead of them... They probably don't want to spend the amount of resources required to stay up to date... they think they have more important things like getting people to play WoW again and patching D3 servers

well using the word faggot a lot is easily detectable and requires much less work on blizzard`s part to make a reasonable ban. I dont think blizzard counts replays as sufficient enough evidence for hacking i think they need `warden`to actually detect it and prove that they hack.

Now this is something we should be grabbing our pitchforks and lighting our torches for. Gogo EDIT: Read some of the newer posts, do you think that e-mailing Blizzard about this and linking them the websites would do anything? Maybe at the least Blizzard will tell them to C&D or face legal consequences? I hope. D:

this guy is smart, he is haking but not to win games, but to increase the view numbers of his livestream

Dont think thoose reports mean annything and blizzard cant look into them to much, they get so manny reports. Prob 90% of all people who report, auto report their oponent after a loss out of spite. Maybe they can start looking into the reports for gm league though, that amount seems relativly small. If hacking realy is as bad as people say in this thread and when its not only map hack but also things like auto inject then blizzard realy should do alot more then they currently do if they want to keep pushing sc as an e-sports. Not only for gm league btw, but also for lower leagues. Cheating is extremely annoying at anny level. That cheats are now publicly seen at the highest level is a stell for how much they must have spread.
They could easily make a program to check the users computer. If they not allowed to do so now, they could just rewrite a new terms and conditions and let everyone sign that. The excuses to not do annything i find verry weak so far.

Cheating will only grow in this game and it will eventually end up at the point where it's very hard to run legitimate online tournaments with financial rewards. The only ones that will survive will be invitational's that use established pro players only.
Sadly there isn't much of a way to stop these cheats and Warden certainly wont do it, you can always bypass things like that if you really want to.
It's a problem that's only going to get worse and for a small game like SC2 that already has vastly declining player numbers, it will be a very tough thing to live down.

When sites like the priatebay can't even get closed down i think its kinda pointless to try this site to get away. The site is technically doing nothing wrong, just spreading information.

Would you mind providing proof of these multiple map hackers? We are trying really hard to filter and check players joining our A and B team. The following players have been dealt with as soon as we found out they map hacked.
+ Show Spoiler + LGBolero and LGlightpnwer
LGBolero is now Impa. LGlightpwner is deying that he is hacking but i have replay proof for whoever wants to see it.
