You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

TT1 has been found guilty of maphacking, TSL staff imprison TT1 in a cell for 1 year, tying him up with mouse cords and what are to be prototypes for future TL mouse pads and hoodies. TT1 serves his time, vowing to never hack again. Years pass by. It's 2012. Bnet 2.0 ladder is out. Maphackers run rampant. Blizzard has no idea what to do, or how to stop them. They have no choice. (ok but seriously, wtf blizzard, these hackers are taking up GM spots -_-) Sounds more like the Illidan storyline from Warcraft.

This needs to be talked in depth on SotG or something...

amazing how blizzard doesn't give a single fuck.

I'm also really curious about IMNestea. Like vralaren said, he is on our team. I've spoken to one of the managers of hte team and he is vouching for him, but as a team member I want to be absolutely sure of it. So just another request for any replays featuring IMNestea maphacking. Thanks!!

These hacks are damn near impossible to detect without the memory-scanner. What do people think about an opt-in memory scanner to detect hacks? All the online tournaments could make it mandatory - perhaps there could be some custom maps that require it? (Like a 1v1 obs with hack detection, but you only get seeded vs other master players). Short of ICCUP, I'm not seeing many other options...

he loses a lot of games even with hacks and can't afford a decent monitor or stream quality, what a loser

......................................................
Never knew the allure of emitted photons could be this strong
Blizzard should do something about it though, more than temp banning for a short period of time.

I'm a bit disappointed that just having full information on what the other guy is doing can raise your skill level by 2-3 leagues. Looks like I was underestimating the importance of information after all...

Blizzard dont let this game go down to what wc3/bw is nowadays o.o Is it really so hard to ban maphackers ????
|
Now people are getting all butthurt over maphacking?
It's been happening non-stop and without interruptions since 1.4.3 patch came out. THE. ENTIRE. TIME.
Thank you for finally noticing. Please light your torches and sharpen those pitchforks so blizzard actually does something now.

He's my teammate and i highly doubt the he woud maphack. He plays very good and he stayed up a whole night just playing to hit gm. So he puts effort into the game, its kind of a silly accusation if you dont have proof. Also Nesteas smurf isint GameOfDrone. It is some IlIlIIl name... But please, if you have proof show it to me and i'll contact our manager! I will go through my replays, I have one against him that looked suspicious. He plays Protoss, right? Since TL took down the hacker thread I don't name my vs hacker replays anymore so I hope I can find it. Yes he plays protoss

I have met all of these people. I can personally advocate against them.
They are in my clan's chat channel all the time.

So he's streaming his hacking huh?
A. He want's to martyr himself B. (more likely) He is revealing himself for fun, and has another account ready to go when the first one gets banned.

Blizzard has ram scanning built into WoW by default, and it's not optional. Why they haven't added it to SC2 I do not know, I assume it's just not ready yet (I can't imagine they're not working on this).

hmm alot of GM players seem very suspcious, im not going to mention his name but I played a protoss player this morning 3 times on the same map, one game I was doing an all in he sacrifices 2 probes to see my gas so he can prepare the other 2 games he doesnt bother to even scout, cant even use it as evidence because they cover there cheat by scouting properly in a few games and the games they dont you can just dismiss it as bad play

None of blizzards hack scanners catch anyone in wow anymore because of auto crit error the moment they try.

Well we both spoke about this on bnet. Neither of us have been a spec in any of IMNestea's games, so we have not actually seen him play. As for the person I spoke with, he vouched for him saying that he played very well and seemed unsuspicious, so for now I will give him my trust. But I want to be sure because there is a possibility that he is slipping under the radar.
This is especially possible since we are a pretty new team (Team Celerity). I don't want to have such a young team get a bad rep such as harboring a maphacker. And for that reason i'm really curious about this whole situation.

hackers piss me off so much, how can you have fun when you know your cheating!!!! Over the past 6 months there have been like 0 ban waves while last year there was at least a few so keep hackers down a bit, but now its worse then ever and we the community and blizzard need to step up!!
