Didn't read the article, did you? If you did, you'd know why this statement is false.

On topic: Let's be honest, anything that's going to be released at or around HotS is gonna be around

If I was going to suggest one thing: when searching for an unranked match and if it takes a while to actually find one, I'd have a little pop-up come up saying "Found a ranked match at your MMR. Join it?"

Well, everything already existed with BroodWar or Wc3 (like 8 years ago), but I guess i'll just leave a simple "cool, it's about time".

Holy shit Blizzard, good job (finally)

Well.... now I've wasted a bunch of money on accounts for different servers. Fantastic. I don't think you have - seems like global play will be a HotS feature, not a WoL one.

ProjektRed as well. Their support for The Witcher titles is some of the most impressive and customer friendly i've seen in a loooooooong while. Also, yay for this! Way overdue, but at least it's getting added.

Unranked means that you wont get/loose points with that match, but the matchmaking will get you a player of around your MMR, so no master-bronze matchup

Huh? They've released patches much after 2005...

Well, sucks for the pro gamers with 5 copies for each region...

Also HOTS should be out, already. Brood war was released like half year after vanilla SC1. HOTS is not here yet. Not to mention the 2nd expansion.

Not really, if you actually still played bw you would see that latest patch is from 2007

This all look so awesome, I almost can't believe it. Changes/features like these will surely bring, maybe lost, joy for the game once again!
P.S. One of first comments is hilarious "not sure if blizzard is actually listening or finding a new way to troll me". :D

Blizzard finally stepping their game up with Starcraft2 support !! Now let's see how many time it will take to come !
|
lol so HoTS gonna come out in 2015 or smth
|
Resume from replays, clan support, unranked matchmaking, global play?
Is this my reality? All we need now is multiplayer replay viewing and it's double the game it is no-
Wait that's in there too? Please, please, unnamed deity, let this all make HoTS.

Oh fuck I'm so happy they're adding this stuff in finally!
Hell, it's about time!!
I can't help but feel some of these are things we should have had day 1, but I imagine the problem was manpower rather than any duplicitous notion of holding back features to only to release them later as a E-sport Savoir.
I wonder if Global Play means each player, regardless of their original SC2 region, can play ladder on other servers, or if it's just cross-server customs (still good) and you have to buy accounts to have a ladder spot.
