Thanks for the writeup! NSL looks awesome, the production value looks great. I hope the scene in China can find a bit more funding so we can see their players travel more.

NSL looking pretty good in its debut. Hopefully it can become more accomodating for Western audiences, and can be as large as the GSL one day.

How is WC3 doing in China? Will players like th000, fly and sky switch over to SC2?
Would be interesting to see how they would do at international events in SC2.
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

China is mainly Dota 2 /LoL / MOBA now. Every single RTS player in China deserves people's support, they are playing for their passion.

WC3 is pretty dead in China right now, most chinese tournaments/leagues aren't featuring wc3 any longer. It appears you haven't read the interviews in the OP because it discusses all those three players future in wc3. About the rest of the wc3 scene Infi said the following "Most WC3 players in China have already switched to DOTA, rather than SC2." in an interview with tatazu.

Joy: Popularizing and advertising for the game is very hard, and there are lots of other games for gamers to choose from. Chinese gamers prefer games with guilds, like World of Warcraft or some other MMORPGs. Also there isn't much funding invested in Chinese tournaments.

I'm talking about viewers, the DOTA tournaments still have significantly more viewers than the DOTA 2 and LoL tournaments in China.

ahhhh it's so sad the two biggest countries have such horrible ladders. hopefully the world champs will give some incentive for everyone.

Thanks for the pictures and interviews.
As a Chinese SC2 fan living in the States, I keep watching VODs of the NSL season 1.
But it's always fun to know more from different angel.
