For those saying it's not a 10k showmatch, you're wrong. The difference between winning and losing is indeed 10k, because if you lose you lose 5k of your own money, and if you win you gain 5k. That's a difference of $10k, therefore, the match is effectively worth $10k ^^

Stephano said himself on the latest State of the Game that he was hesitant to put up 5k of his own money due to disliking gambling, however he assured JP and the others that the showmatch would almost certainly take place one way or another, regardless of the stakes.

In economic cost yes but no one ever describes things like this. GSL for foreign players isn't Potential Winnings - Cost of Travel. It's the top-line winning amount that is used by convention.

If Stephano actually practices hard for this, Stephano will roll over Naniwa.
If Naniwa actually opens with a non-FFE build, Naniwa will win.
As it stands, Naniwa is ridiculously good but Stephano is on a Dr. Seuss level of ridiculousness, so he should take it, but not in a deciding fashion.
