I really hope that Stephano will take this, but you can never know, since it is Nani after all ^^ I really want to see this happen. People should set up a fundraiser to up the pot with another "neutral" 5k :D just for the lulz

Naniwa play really really greedy in the early game to follow up with a really strong 2 base all in. Stephano's style means he's fucking ACE at holding 2 base all in and doing alot of aggression, and we all know how deadly his roach ling play is

I don't think it would be unthinkable for an event organizer to add 5k or so to the prize pool to have the showmatch officially at the event. I'm sure it would attract a ton of viewers. I don't really see why people themselves would want to donate money to Stephano or Naniwa with no return. They are not exactly the most needy of pros. Betting I can understand, and for people outside the US there will almost certainly be action taken on this match from Pinnacle (just as there was for the Stephano vs WhiteRa showmatch). Personally I would probably bet 200EUR or so on Nani if I get even odds or better.

This is impossible to to predict. Play it out, but please, not for 5000 Euro from your own pocket, that's a irresponsible message for the community. I'm seriously about this. Make them pay less and let some organization round up the sum. The winner decides to which charity organization the money goes, but please don't play this out for your own pocket.

What irresponsible message would that be? Personally I don't consider betting irresponsible if you bet within your means. If there is some other message hidden in there I don't see it.

I hope stephano wins so he can go more nuts with his wins against toss. I'm wondering about the amount of aggression in this thread and the heavily biased opinions. This is impossible to to predict. Best example for kids is to see people gamble for 5000 of own pocket and then PAY it.

The day that money seems more important in E-Sports than the athletical aspect of competing will be the day when E-Sports begins its downfall like it happened to European Football or other sports.

Who and why would anyone deny them to use 5k of their own money? If they want to do it, of course it should be okay! Of course, it would be cooler if some company paid.
