I mean they even said in their reasoning, that snipe still works against both t3 units of zerg. And i guess in their internal tests it still worked (maybe their zerg tester don't know transfuse or the terran has some secret ghost micro no one has found so far). Either way, Blizzard has the opinion that the changes won't affect the matchups, just changing the difficult level in favor of the weaker race at this point, so i guess its a good position for the patch. But its better if players can train in the new enviroment first as it will feel differently. Wonder who is wrong though. The people saying ghosts are dead, or blizzard saying no problemo. I still go with mass ghosts don't even work pre patch and will miss shakuras turtling terrans waiting for their 20 ghosts. | ||

Ghosts are great tvz late game. ATM they make infestors useless, kill broodlords quicky and ultra somewhat well. an Infestor/corrupter/broodlord army should lose easy to ghosts with the rest of the good mixture since ghosts can own both the infestor and broodlord and long as they dont get fungaled....which they shouldn't. With this huge nerf, not only will they be uselss against most things(look at Qxc's blog) but broodlords and ultras will be pretty sick. Especially when you go BL first, wait for a huge bank before attacking and then remax on ultra ling baneling while terran will most likely have like 20+ vikings. I'm zerg BTW. It's too much of a huge zerf on ghosts but the mule thing is needed. It's the reason why Gsl doesn't have golds and most pro terrans, zergs, and protosses believe it's really powerful to have 10 mules mine as fast as a protoss/zerg/terran on 3 bases. Of course terrans would like to keep it just like any other race would like to keep something as awesome as that but it really needed to be changed. | ||

I recommend watching GSL or kr terrans in foreign events where they crush and win. If terran is struggling since release well I wonder how the other races are considered then... But looking forward to patch release although its retarded to release it right before a majore tournament xD | ||
