One day,WSVG China,All of the matchs 16-8 is over except Grubby's game.But Grubby refuse to start the game without any explanation.He insist on to start the game next day.That takes a lot of trouble for the matchs of 8-4.He did not care that and the millions of fans at all!
That is a fews example of Grubby showing his bad manner.
I think everyone should follow grubby, he is so mannered, and you Ret:D go to hell!

Well in my opinion the grubby thread did seem a little self centered and what not so I can kinda see where Ret is coming from.
Granted being a lurker most the time i didn't comment in the Grubby thread, but i think I can comment in this thread about how I think the Grubby thread was kinda attention whoring.

Grubby made a post, person above me posted the link. Grubby will be helping mentor/coach an up-and-coming protoss player. The grubby fanboys (myself) included are angry for multiple reasons.
Demuslim bashing Grubby on stream, along with Ret/Demuslim not showing Grubby the respect he deservs.
I'll put it in different terms:
Grubby is in the same boat as White-Ra, which is incidentally the boat that is a bit behind Boxer's Boat.
Ret is in a boat about 2 footfields back and is nothing compared to the above mentioned players. Ret is another
decent player while Grubby is an Esports Figure

Personally I'm not a die-hard fan for either players. I like them, but certainly can't say I'm fan. In spite of this, I still feel this is offensive to Grubby, even if it was just a joke. As a TL player he should be representing his team with a good image. This just makes me think otherwise. Though these are just my morals. Not everyone is offended by everything. You make the assumption that people are pretty much all the same.

Grubby is without a doubt above this and either ignores it or laughs about it.
The thing that I think that pisses people off, is that Demuslim and Ret, as the elementary school boys they are, offend a player/ a symbol who Does make a difference in E-sports...while at interviews you hear the two boys "caring" so much about E-sports..
If you try to be funny in public, think well before you write something..

Would you like me to copy/paste the parts from his post that make Ret seem like an outright Dick? Im not saying he is doing it in bad words. But TL shouldn't support posts like this, bashing other players isn't cool. Especially when your bashing a player that means a great deal to esports, while you yourself mean literally shit.
Esports could live without Ret, but Grubby helped shape what Esports has come to be. Its like making fun of fucking White-Ra, why do it?
edit: And just like the person above me posted. Grubby is in a class of his own. He will laugh this off and just ignore it because thats how awesome he is. But ret should realize if he wants to grow his fanbase he should treat his betters with more respect

EG is not even worth talking about, but Ret. Common wouldve not expected that from you or generally a Liquid player. Im not a huge Grubby fan but i really think its not nice to do such a thing. Well you lost a fan right here.....

yeah people can be sometimes unmannered.
what about dimaga and TSL2, Haypro and his ... in sc1?! This all happened at wc3/sc1. and now in sc2, they are very nice etc. ret probably NOT, because of this thread.

To me it just seems like a joking parody, it's not being particularly mean to Grubby? Just some light ribbing, completely normal/acceptable levels at least compared to what I'm used to (but I've seen people say 2GD hated TB and stuff when it was just British banter).
I don't think Grubby is the type of person who would be offended by this, but obviously I can't speak for him. But I really don't see what is so nasty/offensive about this.

Can you just point out which bits are offensive to you at least? I'm not going to argue you shouldn't be offended but I just don't see what's offensive about it personally.

While in the other corner we have a big population of the Starcraft scene and TL in particular that would praise Ret for his amazing aim and immaculate bladder control if he so was to pee Demuslim in the eye, while Demuslim in his turn would be overjoyed for finally being noticed by the cool guys. That's just how Team Liquid works.
