Because, well, whether you like it or not, this is kindof how things go. Pro players aren't always going to keep slamming their heads against the semis or quarterfinals in tournaments - they get older, they get wiser, they find that money is more in promoting and fostering newer players and helping them. I can't think of any pro gamers that are past 30 (there may be, I just don't know any (or want to offend anyone  ) and still at the top of the rankings - the ones that are retired or semi-retired either move out of eSports, or into the offices, casting, and coaching jobs. (All for the better, I think.)I think he's mad at grubby selfpromoting himself. Grubby could have had that same relationship to Feast, without making a huge deal about it on tl. Maybe. Or else maybe someone at Millenium would have heard Feast talking about the business aspects of being a pro player (getting a better contract, how to deal with things outside of actual gameplay) and go all "OH HELL NO! Millienium ain't getting poached by no one man team!" - and then we get all TSL-style drama. Besides... Grubby's gotta be self-promoting. It's what a team does, and since he IS a team, he's gotta be the one doing it. + Show Spoiler + I still want to see 2v2 showmatch - Ret/Demu vs Feast/Grubby. SirScoots, Nazgul, Cassandra, Llewellys - get on it! And then that can become epic rivalry slashfic. | ||
