Yup, it's ridiculous. It's like they expect us to believe that there's a Blizzard secretary somewhere that has to manually change each name in their database, or something.

Blizzard decided to give us a FREE Name change, why thank you sir!!
This thread makes me wanna cry.... Look at this thread, people are head over heels about them being able to change their fucking nick on Battle.Net. Disgusting since it should be given.
I guess they got enough complaints that they finally gave us all name changes.
fans rejoice, haters go apeshit
I ... Am so happy right now... thankyou SO much Blizz-i-Blizz ;D
Lol it's about time.
Blizzard get no thanks from me for something that should have been available ages ago.
It's also completely ridiculous that it doesn't stack. Hopefully that's just an error and it'll be fixed soon.
It's about time. I wish they would've given me a heads up though so I could've used mine and still have one in the bank.
I wish this would stack... =[
I wish this would stack too, I was so hesistant to change my name in the first place because I knew I only had one chance.
Nice one, Blizz! No point complaining. Just receive.
Sigh. It doesnt stack.
I havent changed my name coz I only had one and wasnt sure I wanted to change it if I couldnt change it back, and now i'm STILL in the same boat. :/
I actually wonder if people think these changes through T.T

Well, at least it shows they haven't forgotten about bnet 0.2. This is at least something to tide things over until D3 release which is probably when they intend to introduce paid name changes.
Oh fuck yeah :D
I know we deserve more, but I thought I'd be stuck with the stupid name I decided to change my ID to while being drunk for the rest of WOL, so I'm grateful :D I think some people need to play some games from shittier developers, compared to what bungie did with halo 3 and halo reach, Blizzard is the nicest/most supportive developer in the hole wide world. Sad that it doesn't stack though, I'd have two on NA...

Isn't it amazing how little it takes for people to rejoice and praise Blizzard these days? They've successfully deprived the community of pretty much every feature that has been requested over the last year and a half yet countless players act like the benevolent creators never took a break in showering the customers with gifts.
It's nice we're getting something, even better that it's free. Just remember that in previous games we didn't have to ask for things like these or wait over a year for them, because they were standard at release.
wow we should be sooo grateful for this !
...
...
-.- in fact all name changes should be for free, and we should be able to use numbers and symbols in our names.. but ok..

Blizzard 2019. An amazing day today, the cost of searching 1v1 on ladder is being reduced from 0.19c to 0.17c! Feel free to recharge your account via Paypal, the worlds last remaining bank.
It doesen't stack.
Finally was able to change my clantag on US
Instead of making everyone wait until we know how that integration could affect a name change system, we’ve decided to provide an additional free character name change for StarCraft II players eager to pick something else.
These two sentences are written as if one logically follows from the other... but I'm not seeing it. Am I being stupid? What has a free name-change got to do with the possible integration of battlenet tags?
