Imagine if ZeNEX still had Puzzle, CoCa and Byun. They'd be a really strong team. If they had a sponsor, they probably would still have these guys. And out of all the teams, they're probably the easiest to "absorb", if you will. Their name is the combination of two clans, not representing a real "team name" I feel unlike others (kinda like MVP, but they obviously wanted to stay MVP or they would have become coL). I dunno. It's just sad, and depending on what happens with the BW players, ZeNEX has a real threat of disappearing... | ||

It's just sad, and depending on what happens with the BW players, ZeNEX has a real threat of disappearing... well to be 'fair' to the situation. the western scene has been reaching out to korean teams for over a year now, bending over backwards to bring them to leagues or teams or whatever. they get invited to team leagues? send out their b team. they get invited to nasl (who also offer to basically go halves on travel costs) they turn to 'sc2con' to say nope, cba. mlg gave a really lopsided deal with the player exchange, giving basically free top 20 (they were expected to get instant top 8) compared to code a in return. then you look at the only none gsl run league in korea? put forward and managed by esv rather than any koreans stepping up. the korean teams that formed at the start of the game have been disintrested or just plain lazy since day 1. its a bit much to hope to pull on fxo's heart strings to buy them out to save the day. i would be shocked if 6 months ago zenex wasnt turning down partnerships from multiple teams... | ||
