kinda saw it coming. EG is a high quality team with high quality demands. Not many results out of them so it's understandable. gl to both of these players in the future! I'm sure EG will have another big name player coming to their team soon. ;]

wow, thats awful

What about that is awful?

"Hey, be on our team, don't do anything, don't represent the team, don't represent yourself, don't perform well, just stay here."

What fairytale land to people live in where complete and utter apathy should be respected, rewarded, or tolerated? I know it sucks to see someone have to go, but it's not like EG is heartlessly removing them--they have legitimate reason to do so and they should if they want to progress forward and be the best.

What's awful about that? If all you care about is performance, they can perform independently of being in EG. Being in a team though involves responsibilities to sponsors and the team to represent the team, not just get results (that said, if they were bringing in major results [say, winning MLG], that would probably be good representation, but as it is they are not bringing in super good results, nor are they representing the team much)

At the very least it's ironic that a TL staffer got bashed for questioning the value of the EG team house and the performance of the lesser players, with the argument being that it takes quite a bit of time in the team house environment for results to begin to show....and then they get kicked a month or so later.

Well it was to be expected, don't think I've seen either ever win a game.

Demuslim and Anna, but I'm also wondering if this means there are more potential recruits for the EG Lair.

Also, I think it's that players have to show EITHER results or popularity. I mean, InC doesn't have the best torunament results atm but he is one of the most out-there, prolific progamers.
For example JYP and Puma aren't very outgoing or (foreign)-community mainstays, but they are good.
Add to to that the fact, that with good results there usually comes popularity, I would still see this as a performance-related thing.

i am curious to see where they go

given how many koreans are free agents atm, it seems unlikely they will get picked up by a sick team that pays well.

I am sad for Axslav. He has lots of viewers on stream and he constantly qualifies for tournaments. O think he is better than many in the EG house. I am sad...

If incontrol has plans to go to korea some time and demuslim is going for the next season, anyone think this might be EG moving towards getting rid of the Arizona house?

well no surprise here. EG is the most capitaslistic company involved in esports. I'd say good for them, now they can find a good team, but I'm not so sure about that since they both didn't really show any results

Just love the random hate some players get. You see two players get released from a team and it's like automatically people want to find someone else they would have thrown off the team instead. Kind of sad, at least IMO it is.

I guess they haven't had the best results lately, but I met Axslav and Machine at a local LAN and they were both super nice and played well in the tournament. They even took the time to talk to me before they headed out. In both their attitude and work ethic they were great ambassadors for EG! (I imagine this is true for Strifecro as well)

But results are also important. Hopefully Axslav will still stream. Good luck to both of them for the future!

Well, pretty expected, you can't keep signing bigger and bigger names (although JYP has been disappointing so far imo) and still keep a 'b' team (unless you're a Korean team) that doesn't win tournaments. Pretty sure Axslav will have no problems ahead, his knowledge of the game seems pretty immense.

In all honesty Im suprised it didn't happen earlier. They haven't performed almost at all while being on one of the biggest teams. All while having the opportunity to go anywhere, practise with the best and live in a teamhouse. As sad as it may be this is what will happen in the end.

More easy to buy talent then to make one.

Kinda liked Axslav, he seemed to get better and better aswell to bad he did not have the personality that Incontrol has, because let's be honest he's the better player of the two.

Goodluck guys i hope you find a nice team.
