But people who are hyping him thinking that he will dominate the scene, I think they'll be disappointed at least for the near future.

Being a WC3 legend =/= an SC2 legend (for example Grubby, at least not yet) Truly spoken like somebody who has no idea what they're talking about lol. His accomplishments have already been listed and those all happened while he was only playing sc2 part time. Somebody as good as Moon was obviously has an incredible talent for RTS in general; he will be great at Sc2 too. I know he has results. I'm just saying, people are hyping him like he's MVP or Nestea. He's good, but it's an overhype imo. The thing is those results happened when he was only devoting half of his time to the game, so it'd be reasonable to assume he could achieve an extremely high level if he was 100% on SC2.

Anyways, I'm really excited to see what moon can do given his background at foreign events. Hopefully he does not disappoint.

Being a WC3 legend =/= an SC2 legend (for example Grubby, at least not yet) He hasnt? if you're going to write stuff like that do your homework first son! 2nd place at Dreamhack Summer (eliminated Bomber in the semis!) 2nd place at IEM WC (ahead of Idra, Squirtle, Sjow, White ra etc.) 2nd place at China 3D Electronic Games (beat MC and Nada) 2nd place at IPL Pacific (placing ahead of the like of MC, Sase, Naniwa, Sen etc.
Yeah, that's still not hypeworthy. It'd be interesting if he was actually going to commit full time to one game.

Who cares about Starcraft anyway? Who cares about life anyway? We're all going to die in the end anyway.
It seems like it is going to be Moon, unless the image was a red herring.

after 3 months of focusing on sc2, he will be 100% better than nestea. i can guarantee you that.
Look at players like Kas, Thorzain, Demuslim, Stephano, violet, naniwa, sase... while they were good in wc3 and wc3 skill doenst translate 100% to sc2 (dont come with grubby - he said himself hes a very slow learner and he played orc after all and hes still pretty good already), Moon was at LEAST heavily favored vs all of them at all times.
ofc he will be a great sc2 player and in future better than Nestea (dont compare nestea to MVP please...) when he switches fulltime and doesnt play wc3 anymore. He already was 2nd at dreamhack and only beaten by HuK and honestly, he shouldve won that final if it wasnt for that strange thaldarim version.

hope its a bw pro i would shit my pants

Would certainly be interested in seeing Moon if he comitted to SC2, but he's never going to be at the very top without doing so. On the other hand if he does, would love to see just how far he can go.

Ever since I saw ThePortraitArt's videos, I've been trying to work on my art skills again, and one of the people I tried drawing was Moon (he has... simple enough facial features ).
He looks a lot like my really bad sketches, just saying...
+ Show Spoiler +fuck it, its not true. I'll never be able to draw

Moon was focusing on just SC2 for more than three months when was in GSL and a part of Wemade. The only reason he went back to WC3 was to compete in WCG and now that is over he is back to SC2. Why was it he couldn't get to the top then?
Moon has the potential to be the best in the world but I don't see that being realized under the fnatic tag. Fnatic is a sinking ship and they have no team facility or partnership in Korea for Moon to fully dedicate. He could do better on another team but I could see that limiting his chances of going to international tournaments.

I don't think he'll ever reach the level he was at when at his War3 prime simply because his attention is divided now between progaming and his family, but I think he'll be pretty damn good if he devotes more time to SC2. His IPL 2nd was apparently won on the tail of very little practice, so if he puts more time in the game, he should be at least solid Code A level. He was in pretty bad shape in War3 when I saw him last, so maybe he was shifting his practice time around a bit. Either that or taking a vacation from the game, lol. Idk. He doesn't practice as much as he did way back in the day, and that practice was a good deal of what made him so good in War3.
I'm still not convinced he is doing SC2 full-time, but we'll see in two days.
