Ghosts of Tarsonis is a persistent-world metagame in which individual 1v1 StarCraft 2 matches influence an ongoing battle of conquest between two rival factions.
Strategically coordinate attacks to conquer planets; play SC2 matches for a greater cause; celebrate victories with a community of squad mates.
Anyone with a North American StarCraft 2 account, regardless of league placement, can play in the Ghosts of Tarsonis campaign. Initially planned to be an internal clan event, we've decided to open it up to members of the SC2 community at large so that we may all share in what will be a fun, competitive, team-oriented experience.
Achievements can be earned throughout the event, a crew of casters will live stream our most exciting match-ups, and we'll keep this thread updated on a weekly basis with battlefield reports.
The campaign begins January 20th and is expected to run for roughly 10 weeks. Players may join the campaign at any time.

Lore Overview
What if Arcturus Mengsk, leader of the Sons of Korhal, had been assassinated before the fateful day he employed Psi Emitters to summon the Zerg to Tarsonis, effectively crushing the Confederacy? What if his second-in-command, Lieutenant Sarah Kerrigan, had never been abandoned on the planet, to be captured by Zerg and transformed into the Queen of Blades?
This is the premise around which Ghosts of Tarsonis revolves.
