isn't it a bracket? (I don't see the point of leenock and Jjakji choosing if not)

If MVP vs Nestea isnt going to be their 1st match and they advance, I'm pretty sure Idra fans will cry match fixing.
They can't really match fix since it is dual tournament format... I guess you can have the stronger player lose the winners match on purpose and they have a better chance of both getting in. But that is a HUGE risk for that player since if he loses, he is out. I doubt players will do that.
And for all the people saying Nestea is in a slump, Idra is as well (3-3 in WCG group, NASL, Dreamhack)...

Sen could not have gotten a worse group. BoxeR, Jjakji and GanZi are all fucking ridiculously good TvZ. Yep - Sen has some real trouble v timing attacking terrans. Jiakji = ultimate 2 base terran all-in variations (+ ability to do strong standard play).
BoxeR = Sen's eternal enemy. Sen always has trouble vs Boxer.
GanZi = good, but depending on which GanZi turns up.
Gl Sen, Taiwan fighting (加油)

It's sickening to see how many people do still not understand the new GSL format... -_____-
Grp B is insane lol.
And why did MKP get so many terrans in his group T_T.
|
Every single one of these groups is insane haha, Did Leenock really pick Fin?
|
ZvZ is more volatile, and Idra is good in it. So thats actually not a bad draw for him. I doubt Idra makes it, but he would have absolutely no shot with some protoss or decent terrans.
I like that there are no total sick groups with this new seeding. Group B and G seem to be the strongest.

That's a hard group for Idra :/

Can't wait for Fin to get wrecked. Maybe the hype will stop then. I love that people are actually suggesting that he'll make it out of the group over Leenock, especially considering Leenock's recent form. Unless people honestly believe Fin can beat Leenock where MVP couldn't?

Nobody expected Jjakji to beat Leenock when MVP couldn't, especially not 4-2.

nestea is no longer that good idra cant beat only mvp

Jjakji beat Leenock where MVP couldn't....in a bo7...in a gsl final. Who the hell saw that coming?
ForGG seems to be notorious for odd timing attacks, so it's certainly possible. Leenock is obviously the favorite though.

The only groups I'm not totally stoked for are G and H...
And they'll still be pretty good...
Also IdrA will be playing NesTea as his first match as they were tier 2 and 3 respectively which could be IdrA's best bet at getting a win. The auto lose to MVP in the next round... ah well, but then he'd just have to beat NesTea a second time to get out of the group (assuming both MVP and NesTea are capable of beating Lucky)

? its tier 1 vs tier 4, tier 2 vs tier 3.
mvp = tier 1 nestea = tier 2 idra = tier 3 lucky = tier 4
please don't invoke unnecessary rage, when there's a link with all the details on the first post.

Lucky is very underrated. I don't know about his ZvZ since he got wrecked by Stephano at IPL, but his ZvT is very good and his ZvP is godly. Naniwa said himself that Lucky had the best ZvP he's ever played against To be completely fair, Lucky is the only Zerg Naniwa has played in the GSL.
He played against Check too I think. (But he said similiar things about Checks ZvP iirc)

No, it's Oz. Gom is just lazy or their layouting algorithm doesn't support stuff like this. :p

He barely scraped a win off Happy, and then lost to dreamerTT

Ich will cheer for Boxer in the first place, pretty sure he is preparing some nice stuff like back at MLG! lol'd at idra's group though :>
