This is what makes me doubt that "not from around here" refers to geography. It's too generic to build hype off the back of. Foreign teams acquiring Korean players is undoubtedly a solid investment for the team, but it's not overly exciting in terms of what the team can offer that player by way of development (see: FXOBoss's piece on players leaving Korea too early). It needs to be exciting for a different reason. An ex-BW pro (or something else entirely would seem to fit) - besides China, there's not really a geographical region left that I'd be excited to hear of a new undiscovered play from. | ||
