Unfortunately you need a Korean SSN. It does not matter if you have a TW client/account, you need a Korean account to play under a Korean client.
Though I know you can change sounds and such to Korean--- I'm not sure if there are any fixes where you can change labels and such to Korean text.

Allright that's what i thought, thanks for your answer. I don't have any korean friends yet but i'll wait until i find someone willing to buy an account under his/her name because i really want to have the korean client.

You can relocalize a Korean client to Taiwan gateway to have the Korean.

Hi can you please post a link to the Relocalizer? Do you have to update the relocalizer after every game patch?
Thanks

Anyone happen to know how bad the lag from Texas to Korea is? I heard violet lives in Texas and plays Korean ladder, so it shouldnt be too bad?
|
I've tried using the relocalizer on my TW client, switching to KR, but it did not work for me. Soon as I relocalized back to TW it works. Sucks I know.
EDIT: the channel "teamliquid" is active on KR.

I am in the seattle area and the lag is okay. It takes some getting used to for things like forcefield and fungal growth, but once you get used to it, its fine really. Although I have to mention that sometimes the lag is pretty bad. It will be trying to drop me from games (drop screen) and be quite choppy. I have great internet.
But I still play on the KR server as my main account if that tells you anything

is there any way i can get the NA server battle-net menu screen to be display in korean text? (Like multiplayer, single player, terran, protoss, etc) i saw oGsVINES do this, can anyone tell me how?

considering to get a tw sc2 acc, but offgamers says their out of stock, anyone know how long it takes them to restock? or is the site not working anymore?

Good morning all! I'm currently in Korea and want to check out a PC Bang and play a few games of SC2. I have an TW account and a NA account. If I go to a PC Bang is there anyway I can play SC2? Can I log into KR gateway with my TW account or do I need to relocalize? If not any suggestions? Thanks all!

I just got 2 more accounts, they aren't out of stock... It's a digital game I don't think they can run out

You will need a relocalizer, or to download the TW client. KR can only play on KR client and TW only on TW client... even though once ur logged in the servers are mixed. It is because of how Korea controls their logins

i need buy a taiwan account D: any know another site?
|
This is the best/cheapest way I found to do it. It works perfectly! Now I get to be all-inned all the time by Koreans ^.^
|
Gonna try this out when I get money. Always wanted to try the korean server, but didn't manage to get it working earlier. You don't have to make a taiwanese Bnet account, right? You can just add the tw version to your current account?
