Tonight, we had to reschedule the US qualifier for the HomeStoryCup due to technical problems. First of all, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience this caused for both the players and our viewers. Unfortunately, several errors added up and the situation went out of control. It all started with a bug on the site which prevented people from checking in. And if things couldn't get any worse, this was followed by an immediate server failure. Just as we were fixing the server from a backup, it crashed again, almost in an instant, due to flooding. Finally, after more than one hour, the server was back up, but this time the grid was not legit, because a lot of people couldn't check in. Realizing that the situation had passed the point of no return we decided to re-schedule the entire US Qualifier to SATURDAY, DEC 17th, 2011 11:00 pm CET (5:00pm EST - 4:00pm CST) Again, we would like to apologize to all of you for the inconvenience. We are doing our best to ensure that all other qualifiers will run flawlessly, and put on a great show for all of you. As our apology, we would like to announce another player for the Homestory Cup: Evil Geniuses’ Puma will take part in the tournament, so you can look forward to even more high-level StarCraft II action.

It seems they are now using the ESL Site for the Qualifiers, so everyone has to sign up there! ![]()
