Looks pretty, but I can't use it, the colors are too contrasting. My mouse will mess up if it passes over the light blue from the dark, such as between the neck and head. I had to get rid of the mousepad that came with my computer for the same reason, because the logo in the middle would screw up the accuracy.

I have a Razer Goliathus as well as one of the Ttesports White-Ra mousepads, so chances are I wouldn't pick this up right away, but it looks very nice.
I already own a steel series black mouse mat and the steel series SC2 (zerg) edition mouse pad.. Currently one is on top of the other. I would 100% buy another one just to own a TeamLiquid mouse mat!
Now that is a sexy design -- simple, clean, impactful. What I don't understand is why the new TL merchandise have those ugly middle school style "XTREME" designs. Ick...
Need it as a sphex! No really. The sphex is the best mousepad that razer has ever made. Its almost as smooth as an icemat and its at a price which laughs in the face of other so called "premium gaming surfaces".

The key is not to make enough so everyone gets one. They key is to make slightly less than enough so people are astounded at how fast they sell out, and more hype builds up for the next shipment and even more people want them. I'd say they've damn near perfected the art of selling t-shirts.
PLEASE put me on the waiting list. I've had a personal mantra of "don't buy things that places give away for free" but that mousepad is so awesome I'd happily pay actual dollars for it.

my former goliathus is sooo used after 3 years and my new steelseries 4HD isnt very my styl bc its relatively small and I think I dont prefer Hardpads as much, SO PLEASE RELEASE THIS ASAP PLS, but also max 30€ pls^^

I bought a DKT megamat back in '02 (iirc) and it still the mousepad I am using today. If you can get your hands on one of these babies do it. Make sure its the XL!
I don't like product hype. But this is it. That has got to be the final version, at least in terms of design. It is perfect. I would consider getting a translucent hard plastic pad to put over this, i am liking the plastic and i would hate anything to happen to this sexyness

I'm all over this once they decide to sell them. Maybe two or three depending on price. I've been long looking for a mouse pad with a design that I could not only get behind, but also isn't embarrassingly ugly or tacky. Thankfully Steelseries sells blank QCK mats, but I don't want to ask a Liquid player to sign a Steelseries mat!
Looks amazing. However, I hope it doesn't suffer from the problem that my current Razor Goliathus has: the middle edge gets worn (thin layer of fabric gets pulled up off of sponge base) where I rest my wrist (Triquetral bone). Make sure you get Razor to glue it down better or else it'll look worse after a while.
Goliathus is the best cloth mousepad in the market (I didnt try zowie, but they are 2x more expensive than razer). QcK/Roccat is cheaper but after 6-12 months its a garbage... my goliathus is 3 years old and its still good, and thats pretty long for a cloth mousepad.
If TL goliathus will be same price then ill definitely get it, but probably it will be 50% or something more than original goliathus.

I think YOU are wrong Yes, there is a Rox.Kis SC2 Team (Hi Titan), but they don't have as much exposure here as they have in other e-sports
those are rather cheap mousepads though I think. Aside from the fact that they are high friction (which maybe some people prefer), they wear out and get dirt over time. My family got one like 7-9 years ago and it got into junky shape within a year or two maybe (turns yellow, picture fades, etc.)
What there are though are mousepads that have 2 pieces: a removable clear cover, and a base to support the cover and hold a picture.
It's essentially like a windowed picture frame. I've been using one for countless years (probably like 5-10), and it's still working great (I don't bother putting any picture in it). The only downside is for whatever reason it has a black piece of cardbord that goes under the photo as well (3rd piece), and over time this thing developed a bunch of splotches on it, making it look dirty, but it's really just paper gunk on the other side of the clear window surface.
While not for everyone, makeshift mousepads from picture frames or cooking sheets work very well I've heard.
So glad it finally went on sale, too bad I bought the SK gaming steelseries mat just 2 months ago... maybe Ill purchase the tl one anyway... too much stuff to buy!

I just revived the mouse pad. It is very well worth it and it is in great quality. Not only it is a great mouse pad but you will look 20% cooler with the team liquid logo on your mouse pad.

Also cleaning your mousepad more often will help keep it newer longer. As example, I've had my Artisan Hayate now for 3 years and it still looks and works like new as I clean it every 2 weeks or so.

I play with the mini from steel series and I recently replaced mine after 1 year of hard use. I was hugely surprised in the performance increase. Maybe those last longer, but would consider replacing.
