Good player will be missed if he does quit hopefully another team is picking him up!!

HongUn has mentioned how his CTS has been making practice quite difficult for him. Perhaps his drop from Code A persuaded him to take a break. He's also 24, so he might be thinking about getting his military service out of the way.

I think this is the best time for him to quit/take a break.

CTS, mandatory military service and his drop from the GSL... He's probably outta here for now.

I dunno, that's kind of a lot to assume, but as other people have said, he does suffer from CTS and did recently drop out of the GSL entirely, as well as having his military service to get done.

With all this, it would be understandable if he left prime and (temporarily, at least) retired from progaming.

he just dropped out of GSL, it's a very unusual timing to leave a team.
i wouldn't be surprised if hongun took a break from professional sc2, whether it be temporary or permanent.

A couple people asked about this on Twitter, but HongUn says it's a secret, which pretty much confirms that something is happening.

EDIT: HongUn removed Prime from his Twitter name. Looks like it's official.

This is really interesting. A few days ago he was streaming and people in the chat were shouting things like SlayersHongUn, LiquidHongun, etc. and he replied with something like "good team names." I thought it was a little weird but I didn't make much of it since I thought he was being polite. Hope he's happy with where he ends up though. Great player.
