 His career is now seriously compromised and I don't feel like it was THAT serious to begin with.Both of them were being extremely naive and stupid, but its far from being a serious match-fixing (I mean, they didnt even tried to hide it...). They should be punished, but this is way too harsh. | ||

This is nothing like serious match-fixing. They played out the games properly to their best ability and only changed results in a split second decision that they didn't even try to hide. The motivation wasn't money - it was helping a friend. The only reason this should be punished is because the overall popular view on this is so negative. This obviously should never happen in big tournaments, but the fact that some people here call for harsher punishments is rather silly. | ||

However I am a man that has made more mistakes in my life then I care to admit. CoCa and Byun are both very young and I in no way feel this was a highly premeditated incident like the Savior incident. They deserve a second chance, but not one without punishment. This is great. It's easy to forget that many of these guys are still kids. | ||

I have no issue with ESV barring them from participation for a few months, it is ESV's tournament afterall and if they feel it damages the integrity of their event that is fine.
