"Ok"
Still seems less offesive than knowingly hide it from everyone else, and making money in the process.
However, big shame that he made a misery out of his career of something so insignificant...

One of them had a ESWC spot already and then played in another ESWC qualifier and forfeited? OH WAITIZZLE. Maybe you should consider using your brain. From what I read in this thread SlayerSCoca already had Code S spot and GhostKingPrime needed Code A spot from the weekly or w/e. OH WAITIZZLE. Some people these days. The number of tumours in my brain continues to grow... LOL. Do i need to draw diagrams for you to understand the most basic things? And you somehow attack my intelligence? ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

The punishment is good enough to get the message across, but I hope it doesn't become something extreme like Coca banned from ESPORTS a la Savior, mistakes happen. SlayerS fighting.

![]() Both of them were being extremely naive and stupid, but its far from being a serious match-fixing (I mean, they didnt even tried to hide it...). They should be punished, but this is way too harsh.

We don't want that shit coming up again. I feel bad for the two, but it had to be done. The message has to be sent that this shit won't be tolerated under any circumstance so we don't get actually huge scandals in the future.

It's like even SC2 matchfixing is a dumber version of the BW equivalent.

This is nothing like serious match-fixing. They played out the games properly to their best ability and only changed results in a split second decision that they didn't even try to hide. The motivation wasn't money - it was helping a friend. The only reason this should be punished is because the overall popular view on this is so negative. This obviously should never happen in big tournaments, but the fact that some people here call for harsher punishments is rather silly.

However I am a man that has made more mistakes in my life then I care to admit. CoCa and Byun are both very young and I in no way feel this was a highly premeditated incident like the Savior incident. They deserve a second chance, but not one without punishment. This is great. It's easy to forget that many of these guys are still kids.

So he can bet all is money against himself and throw the game...? Seems right. This is not a little fun game or event match, it's a qualifier. There was money on the line. What about all those peoples that got eliminated by CoCa that could probably have won this thing otherwise? WHY IN THE HELL would you subscribe to a tournament if you would just throw it up if you were playing against a mate? What if all teams start doing that? It's just not fair for the others.

It wouldn't be premeditated, just a spot. I dunno, I think the scene is paranoid. Of course, maybe I'm completely wrong and this really was match fixing. It's exactly what you said in your first sentence, they're ex-teammates and played together for months on Zenex. It was the very first round of the tournament and Coca decided he wanted to play the full bo3, sadly he lost the third game so everyone exploded now though -___- hahaha come on Asha, he never wanted to win that g3 when he left g2 at 4base/180 vs 0base/45 supply, you really can't argue that :/

I doubt he cared too much about the results given tanking game 2, but he didn't just throw the third as well.

Throwing a match at the request of you opponent is bad and likely against the rules of any tournament. It is your decision to do so, but by doing so you risk being thrown out of the league. Anyone objecting to them being thrown out is just plain silly.

I have no issue with ESV barring them from participation for a few months, it is ESV's tournament afterall and if they feel it damages the integrity of their event that is fine. I do think there's been a spectacular overreaction though from other parties.
