Soccer, a Protoss player from the extinct WeMadeFOX team, joined Slayers. He will be training with his peers at the Slayers house starting on November 13th. He will be playing SC2 fulltime (no WC3).
He will be playing as SlayerS_Ven from now on.

![]() I felt always sad for Soccer when he got destroyed in the F.United GSTL Matches. I think he has been practicing alot dedicating his time to play more since he is currently one of the best Ladder players in the World Ranked on the ladder. Quite highly ranked on the Korean Ladder quite an impressive feat... http://www.sc2ranks.com/kr/1874911/Ven #24 Ranked on Korean Ladder GM wow...

And it's not like Slayers should be desperate for more players. He made Code A twice without being given a spot, once while playing on WMF (which basically counts as being teamless for SC2 as far as I'm concerned) and this time while being actually teamless; that's gotta count for something, right? And he 2-0'd Naniwa earlier this week, which is pretty decent. Also, John's stated before that Soccer's admitted he never practiced for his GSTL showings, because he was too busy playing War3.

No, at first he said he wanted a local team, but in his post-WCG finals interview a few days ago, he amended his statement and said he doesn't want to join a team at the moment since he much prefers the freedom of being teamless. MC is definitely not better than them. Huk probably, but it's really hard to tell. He's good but he also gets the luckiest brackets and matchups ever. http://sc2ranks.com/kr/1874911/Ven #17 in Korea, #194 in the world with a 61-34 W/L ratio (64.21%). That was the reason I didn't think it was that surprising that he beat Naniwa in PPSL. EDIT: I think Soccer is a cooler name than Ven though ![]()

Lyn is on a chinese organisation called pandarea gaming or somthing like that. Moon wont have any troubles finding an org, he's not even playing sc2 fulltime and still raping people (like the IPL 4 pacific qualifiers) Everyone's still waiting for Moon to go full time sc2 though haha. A full time Moon would actually be a little scary, but I've been waiting for so long for it I don't know if it'll happen hehe. But yes, grats on Soccer getting a good team. Knew he had something to be polished, we'll see what slayers can polish out of him. I agree, he constantly places high in foreign tournaments when he is practicing both. It is going to be scary as hell when he is only playing sc2.

Korea had by far the most impressive list of players in wc3. In the end China caught up, but for most of the time Korea was really dominant.

Lyn's already on PanDa, a Chinese team, and is currently living in China if I'm not mistaken. Overall, I think it's a pretty big statement from him implying that he plans to focus much more on War3 than SC2 so long as there are tournaments in China. As for Moon, we'll see what he does. I think he's planning on making the switch over to SC2 eventually, because he did choose to stay in Korea, but his decision could easily have been influenced by the fact that he's married more than anything else.

Moon and Lyn are signed by SlayerS, under the new pseudonyms SlayerSAqua and SlayerSTerra, referencing Terra, Aqua and Ventus from the Kingdom Hearts series.

I think Lyn will also be playing sc2 at same time, he can participate in China's sc2 league, the g-league. But yeah, i hear he's making 150k per year in his contract with Panda, can't blame him for staying, there's no way he can get the same salary for his current level of sc2 play.
