It's obvious this is not a PR decision, as it's not exactly getting the most pleasing comments. CheckSix is not in this for the short-term; we do not make decisions ever based on a short-term result. We just think that Juan is a good player, that deserves another chance. If he ruins that chance, you guys will be the first to point it out I am sure.
This is team #4 by my count (ROOT, Sixjax, TSL [supposedly] and now x6).
Whether you're new to this or not, it's still a decision that is going to be magnified due to his past dating back to BW where he had a tendency to clan-hop and basically try and play by his own rules. The fact that you didn't expect a backlash of any kind is slightly shocking - he's an extremely controversial player, and unlike Idra or some other players who make a lot of noise, he doesn't have a lot of notable results to back up his attitude.

This guy is a running gag lol....
|
Has Artosis given up on him btw?
He keeps doing whatever the hell he wants and killing his fanbase more by the minute.
|
I like him at tournaments; he makes things interesting especially when he and Incontrol go head to head. His behavior outside of live LANs is offputting however. Either way hopefully he makes the best of this.

See when you say you're picking up Juan and then say you're not in this for the short term i find it impossible not to burst out in chuckles irl CheckSix may be in it for the long term, but PrincessKitty or whatever the fuck its calling itself these days sure never has been

xSixwinDy ?
how often he change his nick xD so confusing

But Artosis insisted on SotG that he was "in TSL, a part of the team".
What happened?
|
|
I don't think that he deserves any more chances, but at the same time I'm hoping he does well. I love MajOr or winDy, but his mannerisms are just unacceptable. Maybe this will be the start of a new beginning. ^^

What happened? He was staying with the team, but he never was on TSL. He probably meant that he was treated like part of the team because he lived with the guys, but MajOr was never on TSL.

Jesus, give this guy a break. He didn't have the best luck with teams in sc2 so far, both of his former teams don't even exist anymore and I doubt it's entirely his fault.. Good luck Major on your new team!
|
Um, Major wasn't even IN a team until now, was he? He hasn't joined TSL, he was only practicing in their house.

TSL? I'd like to see him in TSL, rather than this

Good luck Major and great pick up to check-six!

Why count just the teams he has dropped in SC2? Why not count the ones in BW aswell?
I could understand it if the case was that he had stopped doing it for a while when he started playing SC2, then that would have been a fresh start. As it is now it´s a consistant trend that has been going on since BW, therefore I think you should count that aswell.

CheckSix has been around for 8, going on 9, years. I seriously doubt the "Major curse" will affect CheckSix.
