I'm disappointed, I'm always drawn to people who truly want to be the best they can be, but when players do stuff like this it makes me respect them less(kinda like how I didn't like it when sheth left korea)

SjoW is going back after new year, he left Korea because there were so many tournaments upcoming, he had to play in eswc, Iem, providence, dreamhack winter and asus rog, it would be pretty retarded for him to stay there if still has to travel to another continent every week.

The message I'm trying to convey is that why are people bashing Major for leaving Korea despite the fact that he plans to go back soon? I'm not saying that SjoW must be hanged for leaving Korea.

Had Sjow left his old team in a messy fight based on his strong with to go to Korea, had Sjow always said that his ultimate goal is to live and train in Korea, and then left Korea after a couple of months, then he would've proved that all his big words before were nothing but lies and would've gotten quite a lot of flak (at least from me) as well. The bad thing is some people believed Major and defended him in that messy sixjax situation saying "can you blame a player that dedicated to the game, who only aims to get the best practise and who would even leave his family, his friends, and his country to achieve that goal"? I am so disappointed because that's actually what I thought.

Players are allowed to have lives outside of Starcraft and legitimate reasons to take breaks from Korea. What you actually just said is that in order to be legitimate in your eyes, Major should "leave his family, his friends, and his country" in order to train in Korea. That statement is especially ridiculous considering the fact that you're quoting TL forum posters' impression of what Major's intention, and not Major's own words.

We have been doing this for years, and we understand the pros and cons and weighed them thoroughly before picking him up. It's obvious this is not a PR decision, as it's not exactly getting the most pleasing comments. CheckSix is not in this for the short-term; we do not make decisions ever based on a short-term result. We just think that Juan is a good player, that deserves another chance. If he ruins that chance, you guys will be the first to point it out I am sure. Fair enough. We're absolutely not trying to tell x6 how to recruit their players (at least, I'm not). You call the shots, and if x6 decides he needs a chance, then good for MajOr. I just hope this works out for both of you; after all that has happened. If it does, though, I genuinely believe he will accomplish great things under x6.

So players like Major are fucking robots now who's sole purpose is to stay in Korea and train regardless of personal problems back at home? Ok bro.
