Ask him, he made it to the finals of 2 of the American qualifiers. Possibly because hes a US citizen?

I recall while watching Check lose a game, that Artosis was saying he felt bad for him because he wanted to win a title, or have a good run before having to serve in the military.
I could be wrong, maybe just my memory. But if that's the case, I wonder how long he has before he's done playing SC2, at least temporarily? It'd be hard to join a foreign team if he's going to stop soon.
I will add that he is pretty good. To be honest, I'd put him at or slightly above Rain's level - that's easily enough for foreign team material (even if he seems like shit in Korea, the competition there is insane)

All foreigners sucked in BW
:p

Throw in the new BW teams as possibilities. They would pay for experienced talent to speed up the training process in whatever way they can.

Didn't MKP join Prime because he was good friend of Check? Interesting

Yet all those koreans still perform really well for their team relative to their other members. Should they hold a different standard for who they recruit just because they're korean? Yes. Foreign teams should be fostering the development of the foreign SC2 scene. Resources are limited and when a foreign team takes in a Korean that's one less foreigner they could be accommodating instead. Koreans are expensive because you have to fly them from halfway across the world to compete in MLG, IPL, etc. This would be justifiable if said Korean did well in tournaments and brought the team publicity like Puma for EG and Hero for Liquid. I don't think Sleep and Check are on their level.
What accomplishment has Hero had that you call him better than Check? Check has a much better GSL record than him. He has been in every GSL, while Hero had a hard time even qualifying. He dropped to Code A, but almost made it back to Code S in a very tough up and down group, only losing to Losira after 3 tie breakers.

Not as good as IMSleep.. When did he change to SlayerS? I remember it like it was yesterday when the casters joked around about his name, being on IM.

I think SlayerS should pick up Check, from what I have heard from Artosis and Tasteless check works harder than almost anyone and plays non stop. A work horse in the SlayerS house would only benefit everyone in that house. Gl to check!

for too long they have been abused with bunker rushes and blink stalkers
the zergs across the korean lands are gathering up to join the new age of team For the Swarm. thats why u see these zergs leaving, shits about to get real!

Hell Check isn't even that good but I'm quite positive Check held his Code S spot a few seasons longer than DRG.
I'm not even sure what DRG has accomplished yet outside of GSTL and winning LG 6 months ago. Oh and getting knocked out of Code A only to regain his spot by placing 4th in MLG to get a free ticket to Code S.
Let's be honest, the top five zergs...FACT:Nestea 1-3 then it becomes opinionated for the remaining two spots.

I lol'd pretty hard.
Anyone know what their reasons were? For Sleep, I really don't think that leaving SlayerS for a foreign team would hold anything necessarily positive. SlayerS has already joined up with EG, if he was just looking to get into the foreign scene I'm sure that EG would do their best to get him over to the house.

DRG didn't finish 4th at MLG, finished 3rd. 4th place can't get Code S. And he didn't get knocked out of Code A. He just didn't make it to up-and-down matches. If he hadn't got Code S through MLG, he would be in Code A again next season.
Regardless of all that, Check is a very good Zerg, and has recently improved a lot.
