Anyway, the price will likely be $39.99 or $49.99based on wow expansions, I kinda expect it to be $49.99 though. I will definitely preorder through TL when I do. Also, the benefit to preorder is (aside from supporting the site you use to rage and bm other players) usually a beta key to the open beta.

The long-awaited expansion pack for StarCraft II is now available to pre-order. Heart of the Swarm continues the epic saga as something happens to Kerrigan and Jim Raynor acts emo about it (I think).

I lol'd... And I'll wait to preorder cause I want beta key... hehe...

Truer words have never been spoken, i know there is no advantage but i did it anyways because its one less thing to worry about. Ehh I'm not preordering anything until I at least have a hint at a release date. With blizzard I'll end up putting money up to preorder it and blizard will say "the games coming out in the third quarter of 2017 but we'll gladly hold into your money until then".

$60 is a lot of money to drop on an "expansion".

The original game was $60, so I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being priced the same.

maybe im just crazy, but why pre order a game that has no release date, and will surely be readily available from the bnet site when its released? im all for pre-ordering things a month or two in advance, and im also all for helping out team liquid, but is this blizzard just asking for money in advance? i feel like im missing something here.
