People seem to not realize that all the success NesTea has, and most of the success MVP has come from a tournament where you have almost a week to prepare for a specific opponent on specific maps. MLG is a whole new beast entirely, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them hit a tough opponent in the open bracket and stumble a little, and eventually fall. You bring up a good point in regards to Nestea. Since we never see him in team leagues, I wonder how much a grind-it-out format will affect his smart reactive play.
Nestea's greatest asset is that he had wonderful decision making and can think on his feet.

Meh, they shouldnt have a chance at the 50k if they don't have any points from earlier MLGs.

That fantastic decision-making where you doom-drop next to blink stalkers and don't put spore crawlers in your main.

Why not? MLG has an open bracket format at their events, including Providence. If you want a shot at the 50k, you could get a competitor pass yourself and enter.

Oh. Fuck.
They're going to shred people all the way to the finals, until they have to play each other, and in that case they're both so good they'll probably both win.

Ghost, so OP.

I only hope the Providence finals match the level of the Blizzcon finals.

I have to say, normally I root for nestea, but I don't think I will this tournament. I kind of want a player who competed in most, or at least some, mlg's this season to win it. I understand the purpose of the open bracket, but for providence it's too bad they didn't just have the top 32 or something. Oh well, guess I can't blame nestea and mvp for that.

This was seriously the best TvZ I have seen. That game was great.

Jesus.. as if the last MLG wasn't hard enough to win lol.. with Nestea and MVP there it's going to be impossible.
At least MLG is turning in to one of the best competitions in the world with players of this caliber competing in every single one. I remember just a year ago a couple of my friends registered for MLG Dallas and made it through a couple of rounds... the good ol' days when no names could actually win games at MLG are long gone

I have nothing against Koreans having the best chances of winning the next MLG but I still would want a foreigner to win. In fact, I want the best Korean pros in MLG so foreigners are forced to step up their game and prove that the skill gap isn't that huge.

It just keeps getting better.

Just watched the Quantic-Im video on MLG. Apparently Nestea, MVP, losira and others will start live streaming on justin tv on a regular basis.
Insane or what??
Artosis is gonna give up his day job just to watch Nestea's stream 24/7 lol
