The SC community is generous, but that high a figure I think discouraged people from even thinking of donating. And since it was a live event, most wouldn't have bothered knowing they couldn't/wouldn't be going anyways.
Didn't seem like a good way of funding that, if it was truly going to be that big it needed some kind of sponsorship imo

I agree. I donated to the mkp to orlando fund, but I wouldn't donate to a barcraft so everyone could have fun without me!
that's incredibly disappointing. Hopefully the other barcrafts that are going on can be more amazing, to pick up the slack from the gaping void that was ultimate barcraft
I was actually looking forward to this more than BlizzCon. I see no special coming out of BlizzCon other than just another tournament with MVP expected to stomp everything and some pretty useless HOTS leaks. Not very relevant for the future of ESPORTS that I was hoping to come out of this Ultimate Barcraft event.
the ultimate barcraft is cancelled because it happend in montreal last week its now called the second ultimate barcraft and its being cancelled once again
