Looks like the gallery was updated to include everything EXCEPT my photos from the finals, which I have yet to upload. Unfortunately I just got back from the Twitch.tv afterparty (thanks Gunrun and everyone else involved in hosting it, by the way!) and am slightly inebriated, wherein I don't want to sacrifice quality for quick upload service (not to mention Heyoka, who updates the gallery, is probably sleeping.) Check back tomorrow, some time after noon and before night if I had to guess!

With all due respect, I think you yourself don't know what you're talking about. I follow the rules of composition better than many would-be photographers do. I don't claim to be a professional, but I do know all about the rule of thirds, leading lines, depth of view, repeating patterns, 45 degree angles, etc etc etc.

I know the rules of good composition quite well. The simple fact of the matter is that I'm competing in a pre-designed against 30 other photographers standing in spots I'd like to stand, and often in areas I don't have the access to stand despite having a media badge. I also cannot rewind time- I get the photos I can, at the moments I can, at the angle I can given the position I was able to stand in and the poor lighting available. You speak as if I'm walking around doing point&shoot facebook pictures when in fact I'm doing the best I can given the circumstances. You don't know how much chaos it is to rush for a good spot.
