- Catching the opponent off guard, favoring high-dps units (who can do damage before reinforcements show up) - Being placed amongst buildings, favoring ranged units - High probability of losing the units, favoring cheap units and the marine meets all three of these requirements extremely well. Terran is just built to drop. | ||
