I wonder who the korean invitees will be
To be honest, i expect a lot of 2-0's with Koreans probably ending on first spots with EU players on second in the groupstage. Only Killer and qxc as NA players have a chance at going through. What viewers ratio would you expect IEM to MLG? I'll give it 1:3

Not really impressed with this pool of players at all.. It's either going to Mana or Strelok imo, unless a Korean takes it.. but there is a huge drop in skill level from say Mana and Strelok, to Axslav, Pokebunny, etc.
Not to say that those players aren't extremely talented.. it's just up against Mana, Strelok, and korean players I don't see them taking any games except from each other.

Yeah, C and D looks really weak. Only reason C is relatively better is because of Mana.

If the Koreans are Code S/A calibre they will win this easilly.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. Most BIG name players will be at MLG Orlando over IEM New York, it was a poor choice to schedule them on the same weekend. However, I'm glad to see some of the less appreciated players getting a shot. Good luck guys, make whitey proud! I wonder why. IEM has a larger prizepool, less games and the koreans are usually a bit worse than the MLG ones.
it's because Orlando is the last regular event till the MLG Nationals, it's the last chance for players to earn points for better seeding at Providence.

ouch, pretty much the only great foreign player is Mana. Koreans gonna go medieval lol

Confused why this is tournament is happening... but its good for esports so its all right with me!

So NaDa, Maka, Rain, HuK, and Puma are no Code S/A calibre? Cause all of them lost to Sjow, MaNa or elfi recently on LAN-Events.

You have to root for the hometown player. Go Pokebunny.

Why do people make joke posts like these?
They lost one best of, it doesn't matter.
Puma even won the tournament you're talking about.
Maybe in their best matchups against a Koreans worst match up they can take a bo3, but a Korean will win the tournament and that's what matters.
If the four Koreans are something like Ryung, Sage, Losira and Nada (so perhaps not the best of the best but a strong lineup of Code S/A players) then a Korean wins it no questions asked.

That's what matters for you maybe. Other people have other opinions on that subject and calling people's posts jokes doesn't make their saying any lesser than yours.
I too think that Korean will probably win this tourney, but i'm rooting for a foreigner triumph because i care more about foreign scene and i believe in foreigners. Does it bother you?

Yay, I can't wait to see MaNa play!
I've been waiting for a LAN event to happen near me for a while now, so this should be exciting ^_^

I want Koreans to win because there are no UK players there and Koreans play better Starcraft.
