I really hope Tyler's practicing for this. It would hurt my sould to see him get crushed because he was playing more LoL than SC2.

I'm not going to sit here and say Destiny is korean pro-gamer good, but for everyone who right away counts him as "not fitting" for this is pretty much wrong.
He's proven to take games off the best online and offline but he's lacking consistency big time.

He was invited to compete in the group stages of the GeForce Pro/Am tournament. There, he defeated Korean players Bomber 2-1 and Ace 2-0, but lost to SjoW, ThisIsJimmy, and ViBe.
Not to take anything off SjoW, ThisIsJimmy or ViBe but they are without a doubt, worse than Bomber and Ace.

It might be because of his infestor build, it might not.
I don't care I'm just happy people who aren't sponsored by big team but are still good are attending nice events like this.

All day with CJ!

Well, I don´t think anyone is saying that Destiny is bad, as you said he has taken games off great players. But tbh consistency is one of the characteristics of outstanding players, but yeah, I think what people don´t like is players being invited more due to popularity than results, which is fine too

people need to read better, this is a training camp. There're probably practice games againts each other. But it's not a tourament, there's no winners, there's no prizes.
Just a bunch of guys getting together to train and stream for people to see.

Ugh, I still remember Bomber roflstomping White-Ra 8-2 last time they played, I really hope it's gonna be a bit different if they meet.

Awesome stuff! Sad it's closed to spectators, that's only 2 hours away from me. I'll definitely be watching the stream, especially the stuff with qxc and Socke!

AND 4 of the invitees are his former teammates. How could he not fit in?

Also, out of curiosity, is Red Bull paying for flights/hotel?

No EG at all?

No way EG would be allowed to go to this event.

Now we await the announcement of the Monster Energy LAN.

Very good point. Imagine them showing up at the event with Monster T-Shirts. Out of curiosity, Red Bull doesn't sponsor any team as of now, right?

Anyway Chad Motherfuckin Jones FTW! Woot!

And we're missing a Terran, aye?

Interesting, pretty last-minute announcement, but it seems cool. It's interesting that this is marketed as a training session rather than a tournament-- I can't think of a precedent, but my scene memory doesn't go back that far.

Not sure how much the players are getting paid (if they're getting paid?) or whether the overall format will be useful to the players or not. Definitely interesting though.

Nice player pool imo, some of my favourites in there.

Starred (fav'd) the stream page, will tune in when its on :p

Edit - As yawnoC above me says, nice to see Minigun getting his ass to these events! Next stop MLG Orlando Chad!
