I really like the line up. It seems like a nice variety, and Minigun at a lan! Whoa! Why doesn't he show up to lans anyway?

Yea, RedBull has been doing these LANs mainly for their Halo team for the past 2-3 year before an MLG. Now that they are including SC2 players too. I can see these LANs happen more often.

I've seen some tweets from their redbullgaming account about other sc2 stuff going on. Seems like they've been following it for awhile so hopefully this is good. Maybe more LANS, regular monthly/seasonal lan/tournament, or possibly a full-time team sponsored by Red Bull. EG bringing in Monster probably showed a lot to the energy drink competition.

Hm, only 3 terrans announced yet? Or will there only be 3 terrans (it states that it will be 4 though :O).

Edit: I guess I should read before posting, seems like Thorzain was announced but then got withdrawed. I'm glad I didn't catch this topic when he was still in it, because then I would've been mighty dissapointed, now it's more like "why?!!

Wow, how did they pick their lineup? It's pretty absurd how big the skill gap is between some of those players and the fact that people who can't even make seeded spots in MLG are invited is mindblowing considering they invited a Code S player.

Didn't Thorzain say he was only going to the MLG Nationals? that could be the reason why he withdrew. His not planning to attend Orlando.

I worked for Red Bull last year. I brought cases to the Day 9 release event and the Green Forest LAN. At the time, that was all the support I could get out of them for SC2.

Around this time last year they had a similar LAN with just the Halo guys, and invited the employees to come check it out. I spent half of my time talking with Walshy about playing zerg, and the other half convincing the head of the department to add Starcraft 2 to the next one. Glad to see the idea stuck around, even if I didn't.
