What has Lucifron done in StarCraft 2 yet? He beat Stephano and Nerchio in an online tournament? Okay, now he's at a LAN playing against the best player in the world who no doubt practices and plays the game more than him. All the people who were like "You're stupid if you don't know Lucifron, he's gonna destroy DRG" all look really stupid. Lucifron may be a great player, hell he could have the best TvZ in all of Europe, and I still don't think he would have beaten DRG (personally I think that Europe's best TvZ wound up meeting DRG in the finals anyways and ThorZaIN still couldn't beat DRG in that epic series). Then again, I remember when another fairly unknown European Terran who I remembered from WarCraft 3 was going up against one of the best Korean Zergs and I was arguing that the European Terran had a good shot. | ||

I think part of the backlash is just due to the fact that euros like to hype the hell out of certain players. Some deserve it and some don't. Lucifron is someone not deserving of that hype, yet we had so many people here saying that he would beat drg. Like apollo said, lucifron wasn't in drg's class and drg made him look like a gold leaguer. I'm fine with hyping someone up cause I do it too, but only for people that deserve it.
