If you want to improve him give him a practice partner that is good in the areas he needs improvement (and switch the training focus areas to his weak points as well). Then just wait and if his Determination (I think it's called determination, not sure and game is down) is high he should improve over time. A high teamwork rating of his practice partner also helps. | ||

If his leadership is substantially higher than the rest of the team than he might very well be worth the paycheck. You can also just play him in tournaments until his ELO is low enough for the baddie tournaments where he has a higher chance of raking in some prize money. | ||
