This documentary is starting to annoy me to be honest, because I expected to see a determined player try his best to qualify for Code A. I wasn't really tuning in to see him just having a chat with TheWind, NesTea, the other dude, and then Yellow talking to BoxeR on the phone for a few minutes.
It gives me the impression that he's isn't practicing at all. but there will be so little entertainment value in it. Everyone works hard to go for code A, be it yellow or the rest of Code Bs. the show is about him being motivated to train hard after the loss (most likely). It would be depressing for Yellow's fans if he trained really hard and still playing at that level + Show Spoiler +YellOw is actually high masters now if i remember correctly. Someone did some investigating on reddit. So he obviously is training. not surprising, what I was trying to say is that he is slacking now because he is "not motivated" before that show match. Then he strives to train hard after the match (because he was beaten badly) This is just how the show is organised to make the show fun to watch

Aah ok, do you have a link to the interview?

oldboy was million times better than this show definitely

Does anyone know what his ladder name is? It'd be cool to follow his ladder journy on sc2 ranks

My interpretation of the show is kind of an introduction to Yellow for new fans, and a look at some players in a casual environment. Also, what they show (I hope) isn't the only preparation that he is doing. Eventually I'm sure more gameplay will be shown as he improves. Show a time lapse of him spending hours and hours playing the game. And they start the "4 days later" with them fucking eating and talking AGAIN. This is a documentary on Korean socializing, not Yellow practicing for Code A. We just got trolled by GOM. No practicing. Where is the practicing?
Did you expect a military boot camp documentary? I think what you're missing is that for a lot of SC2 fans, this might be the first time hearing about Yellow. How can you introduce him to the public by just showing practice? Especially the foreign fans - what's the complaint you hear a lot? That they never get to see the personalities of the Korean pros. People always go on and on about "getting to know" foreign players. It's tough to sell someone as a big name Broodwar star who's crossing over, if a good part of the target audience didn't/doesn't follow Broodwar. Sure we'd love to see extended gameplay over the course of the series to specifically see how he's improving, but that's not the way Gom has decided to go about doing it (at least not yet). Maybe after they've firmly established the "fluff" aspects they will get into it more.

I don't find anything entertaining about Yellow saying he's gonna do something, and then he just half-asses it completely.
All we have seen is them sitting around talking about what they are going to do, and almost no footage of him actually sitting down playing. We had some footage of him playing against the computer (lolwat?) today, and that was it. And immediately back to talking again.
I don't find anything entertaining about that.

Then don't watch it!
We just had a team league on with non stop SC2 matches. It's good to break it up with some backstory. Jesus christ, some people just can't enjoy a show for what it is

The show is meant for the crowd who understand history of YellOw and boxer. They'd much rather watch the drama rather then some gold level games.

I am pretty sure quite a lot of people are finding it entertaining because it isn't just another show about how a player improves.
